I see you online - How is Bella?
Well she took another turn yesterday, so we had a night stay in hospital they wanted to watch her for 24 hours.
OF COURSE nothing happened while we were there!!
The paed said that he doesnt think its epilepsy because the fits stop as soon as you pick her up - where as if she was having an actual 'seizure' nothing i could do would stop it.
so we are back at home still with no answers just watching and waiting.
i hope your ok and bella gets better

Do you have a video camera hun? If you do set it up and have it ready to go at all times, soetimes it can help to see what is happening.
Yeah they said as hard as it will be for you to sit and watch it, you need to try and record it so we can see what is actually going on!!
Oh Laura - at least that's some relatively good news as far as the paed ruling out epilepsy to some extent. Thank you so much for coming to give us an update.
I'm crossing my fingers, toes and everything else that Bella gets through this quickly and safely and you find whatever answers you can.
Big hugs -
Shari xo
Oh Laura how scary! I hope you get some answers soon

It must be awful to have to just wait it out, you poor thing it must be so scary!
I hope you get some answers soon.
hollie galoobie oh my that must have been such a shock for you good on you taking her to the hospital and for wanting answers oh my i dont know what to say but wow what a shock are you all alright now???
Something else to consider, Rainbow, would be infantile spasms, or West Syndrome. Maybe do some googling or mention it to your paediatrician - it can cause spasms and fits in little ones this young.
Thank you all so much for your kind words and thoughts,
It has been a hectic past few days...
Nothing has happened since we left hospital, thank god for that.
Schmickers i think the paed mentioned infatile spasms, but im not sure i WAS listening to him but nothing went in!!!
Hows she going now???
