Cat scratch Glandular fever!?

What is this?? Dr Google isnt being very helpful on this one?

Anyone had this, or know anything about it.

A friend of ours has been sick, and has been told he has this and we are the only people he knows that have a cat.

Anyone got any light to shed!?

It's not glandular fever, it's similar to glandular fever. It's diagnosed by blood test. My son was suspected to possibly have it but it turned out he had glandular fever. I don't know anymore seeing he tested negative for it.

Yea it's legit 'Cat Scratch Fever' - Can you imagine the reaction DH's coworker got when he called in sick with that one.. None of us believed him and thought he'd just made up a random illness on the spot. Lots of jokes that day about having 'Dog Lick Flu' and the like.. Apparently it's pretty nasty though and often misdiagnosed as other things until tested.
