As in the subject, my 19mth old had conjunctivitis and I'm wondering how to treat it?
When she was a bub we squirted breast milk to help clear it up - what can I do now she's older??

Same again Breastmilk in eye or cooled boiled water.
BM or saline are both the bomb![]()
If neither of those work, you can now get Chlorsig drops or ointment over the counter from your local pharmacy. I have had to use Chlorsig on DD as nothing else was working.
They are $12.95.
Conjunctivitis usually requires antibiotics and/or prescribed eye drops. Its the only thing that has ever worked in clearing up it for my kids.
yep boobie milk!
there are three types of conjunctivitis : bacterial, viral and allergic
yup babe - even use some of your contact lense cleaner on a sponge to wash her eyes
and def keep her away from other kids- very contagious!!!
Thanks ladies. I'll get onto the saline and drops tomorrow.
Should I steer clear of Playgroup??
yep... sorry!
isolation time hun- sorry!!
bah humbug
and it might be worth starting to squirt some booby juice in Mr X's eyes now - may stop him contracting it!
also keep on washing Ms I's hands everytime she rubs her eyes as it spreads easy through touch!!!
hang in there hun
Sigh, ok det!! I'm supposed to be going out to mum and dad's after... Now I'm thinking maybe not... Don't want to infect my niece...
