Ok please just tell me im being a crazy stressed first time mum...but hey i have to worry about something right.
DD is 2 weeks old and her tummy is so big...looks bloated like she has a beer gut it is soft. shes happy and feeding well and weeing heaps and pooing altho not as much as last week. but yea massive tummy...

Some babies just have big tumies right?

Yeah, I am fairly sure from memory that DD had that rounded milk tummy for ages. She was formula fed though. If your DD is content I'd not worry about it

Maybe it just looks big in comparison to the rest of her, especially if she's a bit dainty?

I agree that if she's feeding well, output good, happy and content = awesome mum (just a full tum!).

Teirae my ds seems to get a big tummy after a bf or food. Usually flat again in morning. If your little one is bf they have a very slim chance of suffering from constipation. As long as she is happy, and passing wind and poo I'm sure everything is fine.

But if you're really worried there is no harm in seeing your gp to assess her and calm your nerves. Totally normal as a mother to worry about your child.

My DD was like that - it was so weird after DS.
Get her checked out if you're worried, for sure. But if she's getting milk, growing etc and her belly is soft, then it's probably fine.
