Oh DianneHow scary for you all hun, I really hope she is ok hun.
Hi,
DD7 had overdue immunisation this morning and thank goodness we were still in the surgery because she fainted and went on to have a seizure. I'm still shaking it was so scary. She also had a jelly bean in her mouth at the time so my doctor had to scoop it out and got bitten in the process. My GP said it is quite normal to have a seizure after fainting, I was thinking the worse, thought it was caused from the immunisation. She has fainted a few times but never had a seizure. Now I just don't want to move out of her sight.
Regards,
Dianne

give her a big cuddle for me xoxox
Thanks everyone, DD has been fine this afternoon, just a bit tired. I never imagined a seizure could be associated with fainting always thought it was associated with epilepsy or something more serious. Was just so frightening to watch my little girl on the floor fitting. Thanks again.
Regards,
Dianne
I am glad she is feeling well now. Wow, that is scary indeed, Dianne. Glad you had the drs around you though, but even so. It must have been an awful sight for you - hopefully you'll never have to see it again.![]()
OMG! How scary for you
Hope all is well now - are they going to follow up on the fainting?
Wow, that is awful Dianne. I can understand why you are so shaken.
I hope she will be OK. What did your GP have to say about it?
Our 12 month shots are overdue too and I'm a bit nervous about them to be honest.
What a scary experience.
I have a habit of fainting (it's a needle thing) and a number of times I've had a fit as I'm coming to. The doctors assure me some people just react in that way.
I thought I'd just share so you didn't think your DD was the only one.
