DS no poo in over 24 hours

Hi all,

DS is 13 months and hasn't done a poo in over 24 hours. Since moving to cows milk at 12 months his poo has become more solid but not like rabbit poo. He is visibly trying to poo, squatting and grunting but nothing is coming out.

He's not grumpy or upset and isn't really in pain when he's trying to poo.

I'm worried about how long is 'normal' before I should take him to the doctor? I'm going to start on the normal 'make the poo move' foods but I'm just worried about infection etc.

Ds1 goes about every 2 days and has since making solids his main source of food. Can't comment about cows milk part as ds1 refuses to drink it

My DS1 sometimes and often only does 1-2 poos a week with no problem whereas his brother is regular daily... As the others said I would not be worried just try some more fruit it something
