Fever and chest infection

Hi All,

My DD has a chest infection and was given Amoxil (anti-biotics). She also has had diaherroa and now has a high temperature of 37.8.

Should I give her panadol? is it safe to give this with antibiotics?

i wouldnt class 37.8 as i "high" temp as such but it is a little raised. I dont see why u couldnt give her panadol while on anti biotics.. but dont take my word for it.

Yeh i just read up and 38+ would be high not 37.8. Somehow i'd forgotten what was considered high temperature =)

how old is she??? try and keep her fluids up as much as u can.

She's 10 months. Is it okay to have the air con on for her? or is that going to make things worse?

as long as cold air is blowing directly on her im sure she would be fine. Prob help her sleep better if she has abit of a temp.
