DS has for a week or so been carrying on like a pork chop at random intervals during the day like he's really straining to fill his nappy, sometimes going red in the face. There is usually nothing to show for it. When there is anything it is small amounts (more like skid marks) but soft consistency, yellowish like milk poop (he still has bf in the mornings). I would assume constipation straight away if it wasn't for these odd soft poops as it just doesn't seem like there's really as much coming out as there should be, given his appetite. His diet isn't great at the moment but he's eating some fruit and drinking usual amount of water.
I've been doing mostly child-led tt (just mentioning it when relevant and offering occasionally, but no pressure) but I'm a little worried that daycare may have been pushing the point behind my back as he has seemingly gone backwards and has gone from being completely unconcerned one way or the other regarding the toilet to seeming quite averse and getting annoyed if I even mention/offer it. So I know he could be purposely "holding on" now (and yes we've changed carer).
Ideas?
