Not sure if this a medical condition as such but I couldn't find a better spot.
We have returned back from our travels on Wednesday. Dd is not adjusting to sleep well at night time at all.
She goes down fine for her sleep at night, but then after a couple of hours she wakes up and doesn't want to go back to sleep. The first couple of nights I tried to "force" her. Ie. bfing her again, rewrapping her, rocking her to sleep. As soon as I would put her down though she'd start screaming. I would keep persevering and she would sleep but then after an hour she would wake again.
Last night I thought I'd allow her to get up for a little bit. Left her in our room and showed her mummy sleeping, time for sleeping. Eventually she was rubbing her eyes after about half an hour. Wrapped her up, rocked her, shed doze but again when I put her down she'd crack it. Tried just patting her in the cot and she got worse. A couple hours later, still going! In the end my mum (who we are temporarily living with) took over and she did go to sleep after half an hour. Then she woke up half hourly until 6 am. In the meantime I tried moving her to the pram where I can rock her. Works well but she would get upset because she couldn't move.
Thing is she is tired. She falls to sleep, just won't stay asleep. I'm dying. I feel so sleep deprived, I feel even more ill with ms because I am so tired. I am a mess.
