    jumping in her sleep?

We took DD to the doctors last night, as she had been unusually sleepy all day, and had a bit of a temp. We wanted to make sure her ears were ok, cause last time she was like this, she ended up with both ears infected. Anyway, the doc looked in her ears and said one was fine, and the other is just a little red, so just give her panadol or nurofen for the temp and come back on Saturday.. which is fine.

However, overnight, she was waking alot, and she ended up in bed with us after another dose of nurofen cause her temp got to 39.2. I then noticed that while she was sleeping, her whole body would jump, kind of like what happens to you when you are having a dream and you jolt awake... this happened, I think about 5 or 6 times within an hour.

Do you think this is anything to worry about?

    Hey hun,

its probably just dreams, but i would certainly get it checked out, my cousin used to do this and it turned out he did need some medicines for it.......

i dont mean to scare you, it is quite likely all OK! but for my cousin it turned out he was having little fits and his speach was impaired because of it. Started when he was about 1.

oh no, thats horrible. We have to take her back to the GP on Saturday, do you think I should mention it then? Or take her back earlier? I don't really want to take her out today cause it is so hot, but if its important I will

i wouldnt stress too much hun, if its only happened once it is probably just a dream! I would just mention it next time you are there, unless it happens more/gets worse.
