Master Charlie, Im so happy to know that you are a fighter. Heres the deal though mister, I know you want to do it all in one go, I know you want to show your mummy and daddy that you can do it. But please take it easy, and look after your body, this is a long race buddy, and we all want you here or the long haul. You and your family are in all our thoughts and prayers, no one has stopped thinking of you all. Most of all, we know you can do this, we know you can!

I know Glenny updated you all on Charlie but she didn't mention herself!
Poor Glenny and her DH have the flu which has gone to their chest. She has mastitis and her cs wound split open with an infection!
It's true to say she has completely hit the wall and done so in style.
Please keep the kind words and support up guys. Everything helps!!!!

No she is at home. Having a really hard time not seeing her boy and not being 'normal' mummy to dd!!! She is so hard on herself :( I think she is doing an amazing job!:
Tegam, please let us know if there is something glenny needs to help her and DH and DD. I keep reading these updates and wanting so much to be able to ease her load, even if it is only something really small.

Here is a poem I found, originally written for mums of prem babies but I think it applies to any mum who has been through the NICU/SCBU journey
She has learned so much about life,
To be the greatest mother, friend & wife.
She never complains about the little things,
She appreciates what tomorrow brings.
She's been through the gates of hell
And still stands tall,
She has laughed, cried, prayed & rejoiced,
She'd been through it all.
Her children mean the world to her,
She will walk any mile
Just to see their precious face,
Just to see them smile.
She's got invisible wings on her back
That God has put in place,
She wears a purple heart for the bravery
She has faced.
She is admired by many, blessed by God above.
There is nothing more powerful
Than a Mother's Love.
