Annabelle had her first big vomit today, and it was scary
This morning when she first woke up I picked her up and she did the kind where she opens her mouth and a little river comes out - not much, but enough to make me change my top. Those aren't unusual, she's done a couple like that. So we went out shopping, she was fine the whole time.
Get home, and she was crying because she doesn't like when the car stops. I got her inside and she wasn't stopping - she normally stops crying as soon as I'm holding her. And then she did this massive vomit - we both got covered, it went all over the floor. She was screaming I put her down to clean her up and she did more, it was coming out of her nose and everything. I quickly stripped us both and wrapped us in a towel, and she calmed down. It was so horrible, the only other time she's cried like that is when she had her vaccinations
She calmed down, had a feed and fell asleep. She's still asleep now, but that's not unusual as it's nap time anyway. But it was so scary - I called DH in tears. At the moment she seems fine, and nappy-wise everything's ok. But if she keeps vomiting and the nappies dry up, what do I do? Go straight to the doctors? Will she get a temp if this keeps up and that's something I should watch out for?
I know there's a chance this is nothing and lots of babies vomit, but this isn't normal for Annabelle and I want to make sure I know what I'm doing if it does get worse.
