how long does nurofen/dimetapp take to work?

Dimetapp tends to kick in within about 20 mins/half an hour, nurofen I am not sure hun I have never used it for littlies, sorry!

*most* oral medications (as a general rule) take 20-30 minutes to take effect. HTH

they have altered the coating to achieve that. There are exceptions to the rule, but *most* oral medications take 20-30 minutes to take effect. Some longer, some shorter.

I feel for you. DD1 is going through earaches again. Its so much easier when they can pop a capsule though!!
I always give it about half an hour
