Blooming things, hate them. Have treated DD with the gross stuff over a week and conditioner etc. but I really want to use a tea-tree oil spray on her hair as a preventative but can't find info about how much to use??
I have an empty 500mL spray bottle to use here - any suggestions appreciated!!!!
I just put about 4-5 drops in then fill with warm water. And use it until it runs out.
We spray every day.
Other days I don't count drops, just throw whatever in
Sent from my iPhone, more than likely while I should be doing something else!
I normally use vinegar but 3 weeks ago one of my kids had them. I used vinegar straight away but he still had live ones so I went and got this shampoo from the chemist and bought a tea tree shampoo from woolies
I treated everyone with the tea tree stuff and the nits didn't get spread. I treated infested child each night with the tea tree shampoo. And for their bedding I put tea tree oil and lavender oil in a spray bottle with water and sprayed their bedrooms
Lice smell with their feet and they hate the smell of tea tree oil.
DDs class is riddled with headlice every week, and thankfully DD hasn't caught the critters as yet. I've been so on the ball with spraying her hair every morning before school.
I also put a few drops in her shampoo.
I do a mix with a few drops of tea tree, lavendar, rose geranuim and a blob of conditioner in a spray bottle of water. I also used to buy unscented shampoo and conditioner and put those oils in it to wash DD's hair in.
