My son has a cough, not moist but not exactly dry either. He also has a very runny nose. I have a vapouriser but am never sure when it's meant to be used. He coughed all through the night last night so I was wondering if a vapouriser would help him sleep?
I think it would as it would help keep the air moist and keep his throat abit more moist so he shouldnt cough quiet as often. I love my vaporiser and have found it is good even if DD just have a cough as it helps loosen the gunk on her chest etc.
The way I see it, the more sleep she gets, the quicker she gets better.
I bought one yesterday and I think it's helping ease DD's cough, the chemist said the moisture in the air would sooth the tickle and so far so good. Hope it eases soon
Just wondering if the vaporiser made any difference for your DS? Ours was coughing up a storm last night and totally miserable (the cough is getting worse a week after getting a cold). DH and I just feel so helpless, so thinking a vaporiser might be worth a shot...
