Hey that mpvw website is cool - I think I've stumbled across it before, can't think why I haven't been back!

My internet is sooo slooooow at the moment, we've gone over our usage so the speed is capped - ARGH! Slow!

Jolsy baby, did you get my PM? Awhile ago?

Will definitely have to check out Snoozywuns!

I'm really sorry I can't remember what else I need to say, this slow loading has thrown me. :P

FIONA JILL - the nb prefolds we used were actually 30 x 30 bamboo foldups from baby beehinds (smaller than the bamboo prefolds that bbh used to sell, which were too long for us at the start too, just like Gudism mentioned).

PINK PALACE - we started out using JJ wipes too, until i discovered the chemical ****tail in them.

We wipe with one flannel and then pat dry with another flannel, as i read that if the bottom is a bit wet still when you put next nappy on, that can provide an ideal environment for NR. For CC, when i doubt they have the time to pat her dry, i pack a bottle of cornstarch powder, which absorbs any moisture left.

I am SO PLEASED for you that the NR wasn't there today, WOOT - wot a relief for you and bubs!

    AJP - OSFM fitteds?
    Babygreens
    WHizz Kidz side snappers

GUDISM - thanks for de-confusing me!
Yes, i get mixed up when i have the USERNAMES straight in my head, and then people start using IN REAL LIFE names as well, and then i lose it! I haven't gotten to meet you all at the meetups, so i don't have the faces to go with all the names, that i suspect some of you (well many of the Vic gals) do. IT's like juggling many balls in the air at once - i keep dropping them!
So all my comments to MELHAM about having ht ebaby, yep, they were meant for YOU hon!!!

Nelle - your rationing is HYSTERICAL!!! LOL, such control!!! i am in awe and admiration!!! The threat of no washing done is just CLASSIC!!! ROTFL PMSL etc etc

Nelle, bilby dialled 000 the other day, then handed me the phone! Kids!

PINK - might be worth boosting your BBH's for Ashley. (more than the two boosters it comes with).

24 prefolds sounds good. You can make nb age nights easier for yourself by lining up all the covers you have, with prefolds and liners sitting in them, all good to go (for that night).

The Pixie - i have no clue if you are new - in which case WELCOME, or if you are an established member who has changed their username just to confuse me!
    Doesn't take much ha ha
i do not own one magicall btw. But the baby beehinds PUL covers and their wetbags are very good value, excellent materials used, great products.

WOTBB: Sugarpeas A12 combo (cover and SP insert)

3 hour orientation visit at new CCC today - 3 hours 3 nappies. I think the CC worker took me very literally when i said that you need to change more freq with MCN than sposies! Not sure how i can tell her to slow it down without causing offense. She's a bit *****ly (My sister uses cloth nappies so i know all about it) except, turns out her sisters uses flats, not pockets with bamboo inside.

oh and FJ - that website you mentioned two days ago, all i get is errors for that site, are they still open (as far as you know) - i forget the name now, but it started with a B

Gee, anti norty words software has asterisked out *****ly - when you ***** your finger on a sharp thing.

Has anyone tried the brand called WAHMIES, OSFA pockets that close with a clip thingy - to stop bubs taking off their nappies, similar idea to what the ProRaps covers use. I'd like to hear your experience if you have used them, i saw them on the cheekytots website i think.

i am visualing your newborn (to come soon we hope!!) with baby legwarmers on, to facilitate the every 30 minutes nappy change (baby models work very hard you know, their catwalk is the changetable).

    where is Falguni???

thanks Pixie, i try and read every post on here, but as you will already have found out, this thread goes SOOOOO FASTTTTTT! hard to keep up! Welcome!

Pink - how is Ashley's rashing - top and bottom? Hope she has a lovely time with her grandies. (does that mean a little bit of rest for you? i hope!).

thanks FJ - got that link - what a wonderful site it is. impressive. i must have been living under a rock.

Maz - great winfall - will it help pay for the Disco Bus? Windfalls are great fantasies, until you remember the debts you (might) have!!

Alioops - are you lurking? come back!

Where the heck is MelBel these days? don't be a stranger hon!
