Beatrix. She is ok- havent seen her this morning and not game to go in her room after the 6 hrs of screaming last night. Not sold on a virus as it has been 2 months lol.. but the barrier cream seems to be going ok to lessen the mouth rash

Gudism- yes go a sling. I loved mine with DD - i had a babyrock one (designed by cairns midwives) and it was wonderful.. have it in the cupbaord in #2's room waiting!!!

    Hope everyone is well

Hi girls - for those that are interested.
Here is some photos from this morning of DD. See the improvement of her facial rash just from barrier creaming regularly during the day. Eye are a little red though.

If it's smelly once it has dried then I'd wash it. Has it been worn more than once PP?

Nelle - thanks for the Falguni update. The word makes me think of an oppressed group in China, i think it's a group trying to get religious freedom in China??

Suse - do you have a microfleece liner or something to stop the panadol stains? We don't seem to get them bar a few instances (and bilby has sucked down her fair share of Panadol).

it's great that babywearing is so much fun for you, didn't work out for me, so i'm getting to live it a little (vicariously) thru you!
That' the one Gigi - it's the Falun Gong or Falun Dafa, best described as an offshoot of Buddhism. They used to protest around the corner from where I lived.

I have microfleece liners, but I seem to get stains from wee, not poo, so liners do SFA. Seems that hemp stains worst, bamboo doesn't seem too bad. Must buy packet of emergency sposies for the bad nights.

I'm glad you can live vicariously through us BWers - saves you LOTS of money. Good carriers aren't cheap that's for sure!

Ness - glad you had a good night with Annika, sorry MJs not well.

BBL, gotta deal with stupid phone stuff. Grr aapt.

Sorry Mebel I forgot to say the costumes look even more awesome in use there than they did hanging up on the models in your lounge!

I have a feeling I'm going to be busted big time when my order from BBH arrives cos I bet it will come this afternoon when I have to take Angus to the dentist. Maybe I should send DH to the dentist with Angus and I'll stay home instead

Sammi, that happened to me the other day. I've been buying mcn with my own money (which DH can't access ) but he was home when it arrived!! It was another BBH though, which is his favourite nappy, so he didn't mind too much.

I've resorted to using sposies overnight with Nina ATM. She's been doing these massive explosions before she wakes up each morning, and they are totally disgusting. I didn't want to have to clean it off a mcn as they are just gross, so sposie it is.

I'm waiting on a berry plush to arrive this week, then that's the last bit of fluffy mail for me for a while

noni - how did you like the itti bittis? I love them on Emily, but not on Nina

Congrats on your new mod status Suse... are you wearing a mini skirt & white knee hi boots now then? ...riding a scooter perhaps??

Gigi - sounds like you had a good, if emotional. time out. Punky was almost an imaculate conception lol, she certainly beat the odds anyway! lol

Right, nappies.... nappies.... erm..... hmmmmm.... I have to wash them... is that enough about nappies?!

Gudi - how is your babyleg warmer hunt going, 'cause that IS what you NEED to buy... I personally have a gazillion pairs of bls but HLs are my favourite, get some of those!! Now.

    QUESTION:
How to wash a flanny prefold?
Do you dry pail them like bamboo mcn's or do they need to be soaked and napisaned etc etc????

(gigi - this is on NC too so if you reply here dont worry about NC... i love your advice!)

PP when I used flanny flats exclusively I did the soak in napisan method BUT later on after I discovered MCN I still used them as change table liners and for nappy off time and they got dry pailed (after a rinse off) with the MCN and came up just as good after a good sunning.

Probably confused you even more now
