QM, we didn't go last week either hun, cos I had a cold I'm feeling better today, but I think I'd better not go tomorrow, in case I'm still contagious. I would hate to give gastro to pg ladies and little bubbas!!! Spewing we'll miss you, hopefully see you there again soon
I was asking about the liquid cos on a "how to" brochure from one of the big sites, I actually read it yesterday, and it said that MCN's must be washed in powder.. but if everyone else uses liquid thats good enough for me!!!!!
Bea - you know, I only just realised that I haven't received that soaker yet...
Lol at you Tracey! Thanks, yeah Si's doing well, and Riv's pretty good with him, wanders up to him, gives him a kiss and a big grin (and maybe a sly whack if he's feeling naughty), then wanders off again.
How are your Bali plans going? (Definitely you will need a number 4 for your family. :P)
Liking how quickly the Itti Sewn-ins dry! Just what I need in this weather!
Mazaroo!! That is AWFUL! I know she was a bit evil...but still....poor lady.
Got my little squirt today - wooohooo! Can't wait for DH to put it in...hope he knows how to do it!
Nelle - I was actually surprised how quickly my IBs dried too, they're the only AIOs I've got so wasn't sure how they'd go. Just washed them and put them out again actually. Good to know the absorbency will get better with more washes, was a bit miffed at our first test run!
Willow, don't be too discouraged, when Riv was about 9 months, he wee'd through so many nappies, nappies that are fine on him now! I think it's a stage they go through.
Yay Tracey, you must be looking forward to that so much!
I neeeed fluffy mail this week! I need something to put me in a good mood! My car is being rebuilt coz the cam belt broke last night, so they basically have to rebuild my engine!!! The dealership should have replaced it before we bought it too so my dad is fighting with them to get the price reduced. I also have to renew my RAA membership and get my car serviced regularly. DH's car is due for a sevice soon so I will book that in ASAP and if I have to I can ask dad if we can pay that back too. FFS why me? why cant we get out of this mess?!?!?!?! and we have 6 weeks to find a house too!!! I am very upset!!
But at least I have all the nappies clean! We did not use any sposies all weekend!
I have all my nappies in the dryer at the moment will then start to sort them am going to sell my Cute tooshies dont really like them and one still has the tags on, then will buy a good night nappy I think and get rid of my BBB and covers as I have enough AIO's for during the day.
Thanks girls. The mechanic has accepted some fault because they shouldn't have signed off on the 90,000km service b4 we bought it without replacing the belt that snapped, which has bent some of the valves. so basically we r getting a reconditioned engine and they are paying for some of it because it is their fault it broke. We havent had it serviced regularly though because we couldnt afford it so now we have to wear some of the cost from voiding the warranty, but at least we dont have to pay the whole lot. we are trying to get them down to paying half. whick will mean we have to pay $1300! money we dont really have and will have to pay my dad back for. but it could be way worse. it could be our only car!
Gud, I use the earths choice liquid. I start the machine, pour in the liquid and once it has bubbled up I add the washing. My machine will fill up and do everything except parts that include drainage with the lid up though so I can do it all without having to shut the lid.
I got my care package from MAz today, it had some baby legs & a BBH wet bag (HOLY MOLY that thing is massive!)
Some cute bibs & socks for Mr Doodle & Also a cute meow rattle. LOL Its a cat face But Isla has claimed it. She likes her Meow's.
Plus a STACK of NB boy clothes! I honeslty think Mr Doodle is set!
Afternoon ladies...
no fluffy mail here how sad...
Maz if you do want to sell you BBH (i think thats what you mentioned before) magic-alls give me a yell
what do people find best in a wet bag, zipper, snap or drawstring closure?
Teh BBH one reallt seems to big to be practical as a every day wet bag. I was thinking of looking for something else. Just wanted to know what poeple found wokred well for them or if you prefered a perticular closure...
FJ - I've got a jam tots one, good size, zip closure. I think that's best to keep the smell contained IMO. I'm looking at getting a bigger one though, just for when DS is at MIL's place when I go back to work. I don't know if the jam tots will hold a whole day's worth of nappies.
