thanks mo!! my birthday weekend!! arrrhhhh thats just what i need to make DH come along...
You can use what ever gives you a nice fit. I personally had no luck with the BBH covers & fitteds with Isla as she has high hips & I got bad crack exposure LOL. The rise just wasn't enough for her.
I also found that the front of the covers would roll a bit & cause the velcro closure to rub on her belly but its been a good year since I had any BBH covers so they may have changed over the last 12 months.
Other then the issue with them rubbing on her stomach they are a great cover I reckon.
I just got a call from Lukes teacher to see if I can be at assembly this afternoon as they are giving him an award, he is 7 and they are studying the enviroment and recycling atm well apparently yesterday they had a project (he didnt say anything about it to me so dd had helped him) they had to take 2 items the same one that was bad for the enviroment and one good well he took a disposable nappy and a MCN he told the class that those plastic pants as mum call them sit in our dump for a long time till they go away and mum washes the poo and wee out of the cars one (one I got from MAz is all the kids Fav). The teacher thought he did really well and thought of something completely different.
Wohb...BBH AIO
WOW melham!!! what a well raised son you have there!!!! tell him congrats!!
Awww Mel! Big enthusiastic high fives from us, that's ace, good on him! Clever guy!
Kaz, I'd love to keep you company! Promise that you won't strand me in the city if I beat you in bowling though. :P
ll80, I'm not the hugest fan of BBH covers, but like FJ, I haven't got any current ones - perhaps buy 1 and see how you like it. I can't speak highly enough of Motherease Rikki covers, and I know Janie's with me on that one. :)
I kinda figure the gape at the Hautes isn't the biggest deal, since sometimes we lay in inserts. For me, it's probably just an aesthetic thing...
Jols! A shopping tour! Can you come afterwards, or do you think that would probably kill you? :P
Both of my boys are in bed, and I'm eating peanut brittle... :P Stuff the housework (and if you could see my house you would KNOW that I shouldn't be saying that).
Nelle - its a date! WOOOHOOOO!!! (and for the record, despite a shaky start, I came second at our work Strike Bowling lunch :) )
Mel - well done! What a clever boy to pick up the messages you're teaching him. brillant, well done to you, DD & DS!
Have worked out what my layby is (its my starbunz!)
Nelle - I'm trying to get the motivation to go into our bedroom and remove everything from it. It's freeeeeeezing in there though, and I hate wearing layers to clean in.
Thats fantastic Mel, I would be so proud of him. What a bright little man you have there.
You're raising the perfect new age modern man there! He will make someone very happy later on in life.
Oooh some competition hey Kaz? Ran's and my first proper date, he took me bowling, and on the 10th frame I got a triple strike! Proudest moment of my life. I was organising our church formal dinner soon after, and the placemats were the scorecard. :P And Rans got the framed original for that Christmas.
Still not doing any housework. Although I am curious to go out the back and find out what exactly is on the line...
thanks for answering FionaJill and Nelle.
I'm just going to buy a couple of each type and see what works before any big purchases.
I'll try out the motherease rikki cover, I may buy 1 BBh to try it out.
Slowly getting my list together, you girls have been a great help. I've been reading all your comments, makes things much easier!
..Laura
Nelle... I just have to say you are so awesome :P I want to be like you.
Mel fantastic mummy moment! You must be so chuffed & proud of him.
I'm sitting here wondering what I have to do to get to Melbourne in September... I think if I work 2 extra shifts I can get enough $$ to fly. I'll have to pack my own lunch, and will be walking from the airport LMAO I'm just super jealous. DH just said "I can look after the girls if you go down Friday night and come back Sat" :o
Miss Mazzy Sparkles, I have a question for you. (although I'm open to everyones contributions).
I have asked this before - my little darling has this horrible red mark around his leg. Now someone has said could the elastic, could be PUL, etc... BUT I have since found it only happens on ONE leg, from ONE cover... even more conclusively so since I lent the cover to a friend and it happened to her DS as well. Do you have ANY idea what this might be?
He isn't bothered by it, but it went dry and crusty looking after a while (all fixed with lanisoh) and I'm just curious as to what the heck is going on.
Melham that is awesome!!!! What a great boy you have!
ll80 - i only have BBH pul and wool covers :)
Nelle - Really really?! That would be wicked awesome of you (to take us)!! Don't feel you have to or anything, but if you are passing.... ;) I have had to decline any other offers of a lift as we just don't have a carseat... uh, the punk is CRYING, gotta go...
Well seems the MCN survived CC!
no poos though so they got off lightly.
ALthough they only changed 2 nappies since 8 am this morning.. mmmmmmmm
PP that is good they (CC) survived the MCN's.. shame about the amount of times they changed her bot!!
