the bamboo mandy macs and the bamboo mandy mac night nappy look awesome FJ..all up I think 28 layers in the night nap if you use both boosters.

exactly the same principle as the hemp with the snappy etc..in fact I think the day nap is the same pattern and fit just a fabric change. Oh and a few more stores will be stocking them as well

I GOT FLUFFY MAIL! One extremely stuffed to the seams 3kg express bag TAPED shut that was forced into my giant old milk can of a mail box & took two hands to pull out again LOL
I must say I am very spoilt, thanks Maz! Especially for the unexpected extra's. I think, if you don't mind I will do what you had in mind for those wipes rather then use them as wipes. there just too lovely to wipe up POO with! LOL Also, not sure I want to pass on the Breastpad to the lady who wanted them LOL. Might have to order more for me.
Did you bag arrive today? Thinking it might be Monday.
Yes I had to squash it in and quickly tape it up hoping and praying for the best. at having to get it out with both hands...you go for it with the wipes but now you know what i ment dont ya

no bag as yet either...monday for me

Sorry I had to cut my post short as Caleb was making sit on potty demands ie his ploy to get my attention and not deliver the goods Meant to come back and finish it but oh well lol.

Thanks for being my companion today Sal The expo was great! Quite a good turn out I thought. You might have to make the venture down next year Maz!

FJ I saw the MM night nappy. It looks the same as the standard one with white bamboo terry and a nice purple inner. It's quite bulky though but no bulkier than the VBSN I have. Sorry I have no recollection of the price. Hers are an economical price usually aren't they?
Poor DH of yours being stirred like that

Ness silly daycare peoples! And yes I did find it hard to part with some nappies. As it turns out I can reuse some medium berry plushes that I kept not getting around to listing. Had no issues with others though.

Congrats Ali - what wondreful news - best wishes for your pregnancy journey to nb nappies lol

Raven/fj - sorry to freak the DH's out. the funny thing is i joked to DH about it for months.. ha ha wont make it this time (as Ashley was born 20minutes after getting to hospital)... even highlighted pages in books on what to do in a homebirth and sat next to the loo for him to read... HA! He didnt cause he said that we wouldnt... mmmm ooops to that i guess.

Ness - if you only send cloth would they use them and not the sposies? *sob* on no more smalls for you... you can live vicariously through me

lilprecious - did you ge tmy PM hun?

As for nappies.. DS is in sposies still. His umbilicus came off today but is still having mec poos... so i think when they calm into normal poo i will get my prefolds out.. so funny to use sposies - they seem so harsh and scratchy... cant wait for him to have nice soft flannel on his bot!

    WOAB - BBB + PUL
    WOEB - teeny tiny sposie

    CONGRAT ALI !!

Raven and FJ - you two are TERRIBLE teases to your dh's!!!

KATONES - thinking of you, best of luck!

NESSA - that is so funny about your d'lish getting posted to the circular file. (the bin). We have a box within cooee of the changetable, to distract and interest a certain squirmy bilby - i think that was a Nelle tip i got yonks ago - sometimes it works and sometimes it don't, but it's good to ahve ti handy. i gave up on mobiles, too dangerous once they can stand up and attempt to "reach" the mobile or hanging crystal pretty thing etc.

today in a toy shop, (shopping for bilby's #2 birthing day celebration) i saw this groovy simple wooden painted jigsaw, it was of a family at the beach, two children, dad and mum all in their bathers, mum in a bikini with a pregnant belly. it was so nice to see a pregnant mum in a family drawing.

i was really there to look at pegboards and magnet doodle drawer thingos, but kept getting distracted! the pegboards were all either too basic, or too advanced, coudln't find one like teh childcare centre have (for the kindy kids, but bilby loves it).

WOTBB: bits for bots sweetdreams pocket with bamboo stuffing

Maz - i've sent my Secret Swap to the Swappee who is not secret to me (otherwise, how would i know where to send it?) so i hope they get it on Monday. mwah!

TIME TO GIVE YOUR GREY MATTER A WORKOUT (get the lycra ready)
for a friend of mine - could you all please spam me with brands of APLIX CLOSING, SIZED, POCKET NAPPIES - if you know of any that fit that criteria please.

so not OSFA, no snaps. ta - i'm having trouble thinking of them - mainly cos i have not looked at aplix closing stuff since newborn stage. and i can think of HEAPS of aplix closing OSFA pockets, but not SIZED pockets. well there is swaddlebees, but i'm hoping there are more brands (to tell my friend). ta

    PinkPalace:
Yes, I got your PM thanks so much! Was shocked that you have time to PM someone when you've just given birth (AT HOME no less) so thank you very much!

Had a rough week here with both DS and DH waking me numerous times in the night! I am wrecked and haven't been feeling my best so have just been lurking for the past few days.

It is well past my bedtime I set for myself of 10:30pm so I had best get off the computer and head to bed. We have a busy weekend with a 3 year old birthday party and lunchtime tomorrow and then getting together with a girlfriend and her four kids after church tomorrow.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend so far!

WOHB: Lizard print Nappylicious with HUGE tri-fold snap in booster and an Indisposables (Canadian brand) cover.

I have discovered the Nappylicious works as a night nappy for James IF I use the tri-fold booster in it AND a cover! Gotta make the most of my still somewhat skimpy stash!!

Heidi its so hard, I had a real bad time when Matilda was that age... I can't actually remember all of it, I think I blocked it out!!

So I'm going to have to go guy some sposies for the move. I think I'll head to Aldi and get a fwe packs because we won't be able to afford the others. Or do I just take my stash in the car and wash when we get to Sydney.... hmmmmm decisions decisions. DH wants me to pack them up because he doesn't want us to have too much stuff in the car, but my opinion is what if something happens in the move??? We'll need the nappies.

Christy, Nothing wrong with Aldi nappies. I think they are great as far as sposiies go.

Personally I would go sposies while you move. I mean It would be fairly simple to toss a laod on when you get to a washing maching but really, do you want a car full of wet & smelly nappies?

Sorry to but in here guys,
Gigi. My ex flatmate is a primary teacher and I still get a copy of her teachers suppys catalogue. The company that it comes from is called EDSCO. May be try googling them for your supplies. Failing that, ask your kindy teacher, they prob have the catalogues from their suppliers and may be able to order exactly what you want. Am not sure if you need to be a teacher to access these wholesalers, but I recon any half nice teacher would do it for you.
