    Hi all,

Ali - I put the long insert under the short insert (so I only snap the little one in) big one fits under little one if folded in 3. Works great overnight (DD sleeps through) and no leaks.

Cat - DD hasn't been bothered with the snaps against her back. They don't even leave an imprint on her back so i wouldn't be too concerned.

Ali I think so I used to do what Mel did too! Except the opposite lol. I'd snap in the long booster and fold it in half with the short booster laid under it. C was sleeping 14 hour nights at 4 months old with that set up.

Kitt3n you could use a flanelette liner. Won't have the same "stay dry" effect as the microfleece but if you only want natural fibres then that would be a good option.

Maz I think I am living proof that no brain is required at all. They are totally overrated anyway

Well I'm nesting today! Got a load of newborn and small nappies in the machine right now Washed all of the baby clothes and sheets and they are on the clotheshorse cos I think it's going to rain. It's rest time ATM

Ali - I don't reckon I've had the chance to congrats you yet! Wow - 2?? Make sure you let us know!

Fluffy mail everywhere here this week! I got 2 'swaps' on Monday (thanks secret swappers!) - love the 'skeleton' wildchild (shrieked with glee when I opened this one - been wanting to try the wild child nappies!) & the bubblebubs! And then got my WeeWuns order (no nappies, but 2 mattress protectors, disana soaker, wetbag and food thermos) and another swap - the coolest looking side-snap jamtots! Was I supposed to get 3? Thanks for the wipes too!

Maz, you're a *&%$ legend for organising that swap. I'm stoked! Well done honey!

No idea what else I was going to say now... Just spent about an hour catching up on threads and am so overdue for bed that I can't see straight. Ooh - I remember now. Only here can I post this with confidence that you'll all share my glee. We're finally having roll-off poo! Not all of it mind you. It's not a nice little log that leaves no trace or anything, but big blobs of it roll straight into the loo! yay! Sorry if

to all of you with sick & sore bubbies...

rhyb - if you have a LONG bubba, be aware that some brands do a "medium long" size, excellent for long bubs like yours.

buy for baby has a few dancing bears, pullup SMALL night covers going off in about 20 mins.
we have the medium, and that is from 7kg.

wotbb; i'm liking having bilbs in just a fitted around the house - so nice to get to SEE the pretty fabrics, instead of covering them up as usual.

FJ - that's great that Isla slept thru last night - ya gotta do what ya gotta do - to get thru! And great news you can get an energy and water saving front loader now. that's what we have and i'm v.impressed (ours was $800 so not one of the $4,000 jobbies).

Alioops - you CAN actually buy OSFA nappies like Baby Greens, where the booster part of the nappy is used BY ITSELF for the newborn phase, cos the booster is in the shape of a contour nappy. So you can lay it in a cover, or snappi it, both work. Then when baby is out of nb stage, you THEN start using the actual nappy, with the contour sitting inside it.

i know there IS a few other brands that do this too, i've just gone blank which ones.

and there is the Loveybums contour type set up - we've got one of those - dries in a flash (made of sherpa) - you can snap it into the loveybums wool cover, i just put it in one of our fleece covers.

and the sugarpeas glorified elasticated prefold setup - that also dries very fast - (made of hemp). - you can snap that into a sugarpeas cover, or any other cover - just lie it in.

FIONA - i went into Cotton On today, and i saw SO MANY white, navy, light blue, sky blue simple tops with collars, in small sizes! My initial plan was to get you one, and then when i saw so many to choose from - i got confused - WHICH one to get? and i also worried, i bet loads of other people online are doign the same thing and then you will wind up with HEAPS of the same thing. so when in doubt, i froze and bought none! i just couldn't decide, my head was spinning, trying to guess the right thing to get!!! i will try to go back, WITH MY CAMERA and email you pics of what is there - for you to tell me which to get for you.

Got a trim today - for $50!!! that is a fortune to me. Hairdresser kept randomly wandering off, then coming back saying "Sorry about that" without saying where she had been. it really narked me. So rare i get to have a haircut and it seemed very rude for her to just keep on going away. My hair ended up being dry for her to cut (cos it was so long since it had been washed), and she didn't even spray it wet again. i hate getting my haircut. every time i think "it'll be better this time".

NETTIE - congrats on the roll off poo! that IS news that we all understand and celebrate here!

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one with a skinny kid - that makes me feel like i'm doin ok.

Ali - nah no such luck with stuff like that. We have serious food issues here, don't get me started!!

Gigi - i hate it when hairdressers do that - you are there to be pampered and feel special!! Hope your next one is better.
