I have 2 sick kids now Shelby is in sposies atm so i can monitor how much shes weeing.. poor thing has tonsillitis.. If it doesnt rain it pours in this house.. Seb is slowly on the mend with his pneumonia and still in cloth but im just waiting to see what Brianna comes down with now?!
Sammi - they are bamboo inserts - so far its badly affected one of the ittis inserts, and a cuddlebuns inserts - like REALLY badly.. but I noticed another one of the ittis looking a bit "thin" in places now... arggghh..
Gigi - I was thinking last night in bed (where I do all my great thinking of course) that I might just have to start little squirting every single nappy before putting it in the pail..maybe that will solve the problem?
DS is sick - again! - I think the bad nappy rash is coming back Plus his doodle looks a bit red and swollen just under the - uh - nobby bit.. lol and he has a temp.. and a cough.. guess its to the docs today.... I put some moogoo on the red swollen nobby bit and he cried and pulled away from me - so dunno what is going on with him. Probably teeth. I always blame teeth.
Oh Gigi - yeah DS started getting teething symptoms at 3 months too - even though his first tooth didn't pop through until he was 7 months. So she might be the same. She isn't whingy at all though - but then - she is a girl.. lol
WOAB: Blueberry!!
WOMB: Still the BBB and longies cos we haven't gotten her up yet - she just complaining now that she wants some food!!
Gigi - nahh... they didn't have any red ones available, but that was my first preference! Was ogling some red longies on spesh too, but they're just not the right shade of red so they have no place in my stash! Can't be that obsessive about it, really, but I try!
mel - they say in the nurture nappies product care propaganda *ahem* that it's a good idea to saturate weed-in nappies before dropping in the bucket. And yeah, teething symptoms can apparently go for a couple of months before a tooth pops up, so toxic wee could be what's causing the disintegration? We have tooth number 2 this morning, and DS is not quite 6 months. Hope Aricyn is feeling better soon! We blame everything on teething as well.

Kitt3n what size BP? I'd say yes for a large but not sure about a NB or small. Check the prices out on other stores to be on the safe side...

Mel is it Aricyn's IB's that are doing it? I recall reading something on NC about toxic teething wees and bamboo breaking down not all that long ago. Hope his rash doesn't get too bad.
Well after a cruddy nights sleep and a mammoth nesting session I am totally stuffed. My kitchen is gleaming though As long as my back holds up I may drag out the sewing machines this arvy after a nap!
Mel - I LS all of my nappies before they go in the pail, and my bamboo looks as good as new. Euan has some pretty stinky wees too.
NaNa - are you sure we weren't separated at birth? I know the longies you mean (although I dismissed them because longies get worn for about five minutes in winter here, it's too hot - I like that colour red even though it's not a proper red), but the IB red has just a little too much magenta in it for me, and the blueberry red is just wrong, so I know exactly what you mean about being obsessive. The GK red, on the other hand, is perfect. Am I right in recalling you saying you were/are a graphic designer? Sounds like a typical designer trait lol. We could Pantone match our nappies...

Sam - hope the stretchies don't get too annoying. Have you tried massaging in sweet almond oil, it might help with the itching.
Gigi - that's such a gorgeous shot of Bilbs. She looks so cuddly in all of her woolies. I've forgotten what clothes are like on Euan lol. He's lucky to wear a singlet most days.

Um, no real news from us, except that I am so loving my GKs. I want, want, want more (no Suse, not allowed). I didn't want to take his zebra print one off yesterday - it looked so cute (it's alright, I did take it off - he had a big poo in it), but now I'll have to wait two whole days before he can wear it again
Sammi - no its Mehkelti's IB's (even though they do share the mediums) but its happening on her smalls... and Aricyn is skinny... but not skinny enough to fit into a small itti.. (hmm... maybe... heheheheehe)
Doc said its a viral thing - so I went and got some moogoo soothing cream (cos we only had the skin milk) so HOPEFULLY that can clear it up.

I have ot fold a huge basket of nappies....its great having so many but a pain when I have to fold 3 - 4 days worth in one session

Suse I am loving my GreenKids too. With Riv, my favourites were BumG's hands down, but these boys are so different, and GK's just take the cake with Si.
