I can't hear this talk about animals being overrated!!!!

Maz, luckily we had so many animals when Matilda was born. She was so stressed about moving because she thought her dog wasn't coming with us.... its her dog. My dog didn't matter but her's did.

Speaking of dogs with nappies... nope... only story I have is our labrador trying to lick them when they are dirty.... ewwwwww

WOHB: prefold pad shaped in a maz cover.... its raining again!!! I don't know how I feel about Sydney atm.

well I went out in cloth, and it was no trouble at all, although, the nappy change was only wet!

I have a couple of itti bittis too, and so far they are my fave. I keep wanting to pat her bum when she is wearing them! I am thinking of ordering a bulk pack of the snap in ones with the extra booster sets, cause I have a discount coupon for them for an extra 15% off (for those interested, it is dlish).

Christy - I'll swap you Melbournia for Sydney, like, now!! lol, It took me years to get used to Sydney & now I miss it like crazy.

Maz - rainbows are in action for the night Had an issue with the fit, or the snaps, or something lol, I will have to investigate more in the morning, she might've just been laying on it screwy or sumpin 'cause my other large fits great.... Before I opened the nappy I was like "Oh, Maz's house smells nice!" Spanks for the extras hon, you are lovely.

Katones - congrats for going out using MCN

Squidgee - love the cowprint photo

Raven - love the birthing bracelets, very spesh.

thanks everyone for all the birthday wishes for the bilbster, she had a lovely day, didn't really understand what it was all about, but loved playing with three little playgroup friends. I had another party for non-playgroup friends today at a playground, and that was lovely too, she had a great time watching the four year olds and cuddling the babies. Ness coudln't make it with her three munchikins unfortunately, next time heh? So we are all partied out!

to make my post MCN related: bilby wore woollies at both parties! LOL.
bilby shorties and purple/aqua varigated longies. Yes LONGIES and we are a fortnight away from summer! 36 degrees last week, and 21 today. that's our city for you.

PP - I think DD was about 8 weeks before I attempted wool again. Sometimes I still get compression leaks if she hasn't had a heap of sleep during the day and sleeps like a log at night.

    hi ladies
I am thinking about venturing out in cloth today, all the talk has inspired me that I can do it! Was just wondering though, how do you deal with the poo nappies while you are out?
If you change bub in a parent's room WITH a toilet nearby, after you have changed baby and packed up, i take the wetbag to a toilet and empty the poo into loo, and flush. SUper easy if you have flushable liners inside the nappy too. (once baby is old enough to do formed poos). Then roll up nappy, stick inside wetbag, do zip up, put wetbag in nappy bag, do zip up.

if you change bub in a parent's room or outside e.g on the grass at the beach, and there is no loo handy, i put a disposable wipe over said poop, roll up nappy, put in wetbag, zip, in nappy bag, zip, and deal with it (little squirt it) when we get home.

ARIMEH - how is your little boy?

KAZBAH - dh cooks, in the BBQ style, he cooks sausages and eggs, can open a tin of spaghetti adn heat it up, serve with toast. So he sort of cooks. but for the last two years, that is more than i have cooked. It is a miracle that i made banana bread today for bilby's birthday. i used to make Thai Green Chicken curry (from scratch, with ingredients from Chinatown), that was the kind of thing i cooked pre-bilby. and lots of ymmy salads made with vegies and herbs i grew myself.

FJ - did you ask about fleece covers? i reckon, if baby is having strong ammonia issues, i'd wash EVERY wear. at times when wee has LESS ammonia, then air between a few wears.

MAZ - can you post the link for testers again please? i cannot face going thru ten pages again and was too silly to "click" first time i saw it. der to me.

Have we got any Brissy gals here? those terrible storms.

QUEEN: do you mean your dog DESTROYED nappies, or actually CONSUMED nappies? (can you tell i dont have pets!!! i'm allergic to cat and dog hair).

WOTBB: lotus AI2 that i put on her at the playground, she has been asleep (in car, then on sofa in the lounge, then fell down to cushions, then got carried to cot by daddy - slept thru it all - it's not a night nappy, so will be severely tested! I rarely leave a day nappy on her more than two hours usually. but this has been a BIG day for her. May have to attempt dream change soon!

My posty came extra early today, 9:30 instead of 12:00 - so I bet the fluffy mail will come tomorrow.... but thats ok, its the last lot for a long time!

Cna i ask, out of these three, what do you guys prefer....

    Berry Plush
    Itti Bitti D'Lish
    Minkee Magic alls

    .....?
    Berry Plush
    all in two
    good for drying times
    side snapper closure
    higher rise than others
you can use the outer as a cover for other nappies

    itti bitti dlish
    all in two
    good for drying times
    front snapping closure
low rise, narrower crotch than others
can get either snap in inserts, or sewn in versions

    baby beehinds magicalls
    i havne't tried these but i take a guess from MJ's that i've seen
    front snappers
    all in one?
    quick drying?
    wider crotch than ittis
i think the rise would be higher than the ittis

I have no clue what is/has happened to MELBEL, but i don't like what i'm surmising from the comments so far. i so hope i'm wrong in what i'm thinking. i've been out all day, but want to put in for some flowers for her Maz. How do i do this?
