A Walk In My Paradise: Who's a lucky baby boy?
OMG Mel are you serious LOL thats too funny. Im getting a special one. She is doing me up a gecko!
Oh hey mel too, I nearly died sending that stuff to you today. Postage was a tad more then we expected LOL I will PM you later.
Whats too funny?
wow expensive!!
yeah but worth it :)
that you have so many! you are the bling queen
Arimeh, can we include Jett in that offer as a package deal?
Oh oh oh oh oh! Shiny sparkly things that can be put on boys..............Ive died and gone to heaven! I dont care if I have to sell my firstborn for one of those, Im getting some!
Anna - yup I'd be in that.
Good stuff.
Ey maybe we could trade them both for some bling............... ;)
I really should be in bed but Dh is playing Xbox (he got a shiny new one for christmas so I dont feel the least bit bad about all the cloth $$$ Ive spent, atleast mine is useful!) and its noisy. Might go read a romance novel and give this baking bean a talking to about proper sleep etiquette - kicking is not a nighttime activity lol
OOOooooOOOOOOO
I like the way you think chickie...
Theyd atleast be worth $40, we could always time-share the bling hahahahaha
Beatrix - oh well, he can just enoy the time without the kids - sleeping in (without getting kicked by cosleeping children) breakfast without flying food, Adelaide is sounding pretty good to me.
Ali - he is going in early feb about the 6th I think. He is hoping to stay at a hotel right near the wedding so hopefully not too much driving. Hope the poo painting stops soon for you - ewwww How's the packing going?
Wow those wildchilds are gorgy! But they're all sold and sounds like there is a bit of a drama with family illness at wildhild according to homepage so I'm guessing no restocking in the near future:-(
Nappy related - we have been having a heap of leaks lately - thinking I'm going to be doing extra boosting this summer.
ooh I found some ecostore stain remover today - with baking soda. how do you reckon that would go on nappies? Some of ours have stains from missy playing in sandpits/dirt etc on the outside
Wow, that's terrible RHYB - sounds like my worst nightmare - big hugs to you.
Did he take any of the really useful stuff e.g whitegoods? I hope not!
how are you feeling?
ALIOOPS - that's great news your parents are visiting at the time that suits you better.
SARAM - Adelaide is fine if you have money. Good times to visit are fesival times.
Sports fans like the Tour Downunder (international cycle race) in Jan, Clipsal 500 i think is in March (V8 streetcars).
Fringe festival, Festival of Arts, WOMAD are all great fun.
The Art Gallery of SA has a fantastic Colonial section, in the early days of colonies etc, SA had the wealth at that stage, so bought the art. Then the goldrush in Vic came along, and that changed! but the paintings stayed. If you like history and art, you'll enjoy seeing the Colonial art.
like every city, nice botanic gardens, zoo.
Haighs chocolate factory has daily tours on the edge of the CBD (they make chocolate BILBIES!!!!)
Warrawong Sanctuary at mylor is a 30 min drive, great for dawn and dusk walks (so you can see the nocturnal native animals).
If you have a car, it's more fun to visit the real wineries down south, like at McLaren Vale - the Barossa has some nice bits, but is a lot more touristy.
Adelaide is on the coast, a long n skinny city, so it's really north, city and south.
public transport is not that fab, but it does exist. It's best in the city and inner city area.
the organic baby shops IRL shops (that sell MCN) are at Brighton (southwest) and Rainbow Tree (east).
see, i managed to make it MCN related after all!
and if you visit, come to my place and use my laundry (and little squirt).
Saram there will probably be a stocking in the new year :) It's not the stocking you need to worry about, it's the hyena'ing lol They are much saught after! I must admit, it's so nice being able to put shiny things on a boy!! And they glimmer in the sunlight! You can see Ashtons butt coming from a mile away! Photos really don't do them justice :)
Gigi I grew up in Adelaide :) Moved to Tas in 99. I miss that place ! Can't wait to go visit again, probably around July next year!
oh Fiona - I am so jealous!!!! what other WC did ya end up getting?
Mel - Ive tried to get my hands on a bling...Im always to slow and we all know how quick they go :(
Id like to offer Vyolett to go parcel post aswell...driving me friggen insane for thet last week!
WOMB - IB
Right, so we've got Vy, Jett and Aricyn up for grabs... any bidders???
I think they would be worth a couple of nappies for the lot of them.....
