Arimeh, I'm soooo annoyed I couldn't come meet up with you while I was up in Qld. My mum's stupid car broke down the day we borrowed it to go to the beach and we ended up stuck on the side of the Bruce Highway on a 38 degree day with a poo-spolsion in a HH leaking everywhere! Couldn't go anywhere for the rest of our stay, so I didn't get to go visit any of my friends. :( I hate Daewoos.
As for sposies... I think it takes forever to break down. Or somewhere close to it. NN website has all that info I think.
So, if I have a moster baby ~ I mean DS ~ who wont lie still on the change table and insists on rolling onto his tummy, is it bad of I put his nappy on back to front?? Just the once? I mean, he just would not stop kicking me in the BBs every time I tried to turn him over, and it's impossible to find straightjackets in size 1 (I've looked)... it kinda stopped him ripping it off so soon as well, since he's figured out velcro now, and it was too hot for clothes that day!
Ooh, and what is it with bubs pooping in night nappies?? Big, stinky teething poops... TMI?! it's gross. And at 4:30am too. Night before last I had to change DS's night nappy twice in half an hour, once coz he pooped in it 5 minutes after getting it on him, and again 10 minutes later coz the ammonia-stinky wee was peeling the paint off the walls. Bless him, the teeth just keep coming one after another.

There very few medium starbunz, i did get a ducky but other one I got is in small. I figure its cute and even if it fits bub for a few weeks will get some nice picks and someone with a smaller bub will get some use out of it
i have emailed them asking to swap my small for a large for you hunny - hopefully they'll get to it before order is sent. if not, i'll return it and exchange it for you! no biggie for me. as long as i gets me a cute little cow...:

It's funny, I looked at the GD stocking yesterday and none of it really grabbed me, just as well really as I don't NEED any more nappies.
On a nappy related question, I need some help finding clothes that can be worn over cloth bums. I found Frugi (they're currently having a winter sale in their main UK online store so I bought a couple of pants for DS) but I'd like to know if there are local people making them.
Also I'd like a super special nappy or cover for his christening next month. Any ideas?

Eugina- Nothing took my fancy either! Lucky as i desperately need to buy some drawers for the new baby and a buffet/hutch type arrangement to put all the crockery in that is currently in the babies room hanging cupboard! So can't really spend much on nappies atm. Just madly stalking ebay!

i have no issue talking to people about cloth - hell, i've even got my lazy-ass mother not only interested in the idea of cloth, but she is helping me to shop for it now! (hence the slightly bigger than anticipated order the other night - was at her place!)
i'd probably ask if she's planning on using cloth or sposies, and if she's not sure, talk to her about her options with cloth - if she's dead set on the idea of sposies - well, all you can do is flash your bubba's buts at her and show how cute they are!

I mentioned to Dh about maybe using NN and going cloth just about 100% full time (except for kindy and outings) but that the NN cost a bit but the boys would only need like 3 each and he said no worries!

Anna - the best ones for night here are either the BBB's with a wool cover (DD) or I use Snoozywuns or Green Kids for DS... he's usually in a green kids actually...lol Then I don't need to put a cover over it (although technically you don't use a cover with snoozywuns, but I always do) Green kids are good cos the pockets dry really quick and you just stock up on inserts - then you can use them both at night and during the day.:
So I dont technically HAVE to buy specifically night nappies?
Snoozywun's are fab!!!!!!! Ive got one and love it although im gonna be a bit worrie idn winter cause I have a big wetter on my hands.

Beetle bums have night nappies now with a cover all in one...bit pricey but if you think by the time you buy a cover and a night nappy its probably cheaper

Thanks for the recomms Maz! So basically a NN is just more boosting right? The boys are usually pretty wet come morning in a sposie. Rip has lasted through an Itti with no extra boosting but not sure if that was a fluke.
Anyone bought anything of MCuture? Found a dino nappy in a medium (up to 16kg) that I might buy for J-Bear. Its an Envoy nappy I think?
