lol, while they are flannel flats though i think it would be OK, but then ive answered my own q and a normal sized on will fit fine ;)
ETA: OT but is it just me or do other people find postst that "new posts" report are up, are missing when you read the thread?
Sometimes the mods catch dodgy ones pretty quick, other times the forum glitches take over ;)
Nappy related - They actually got some sun today!!! They are in the dryer finishing off now though.
How nice is it to see sun Ali :) I actually got a tad bit burnt yesterday at the park, naughty me.
Going to be so nice to be able to HANG my nappies YAY. I have some poo stains that absolutely wont come out through washing. Which reminds me I have a load of nappies to do.
Have had to put J in sposies cause he's been having panadol for this cold he's got and I didnt want to risk staining them. Its panadol that stains right?
yep panadol stains...it stained my precious fluffies :( BUT they have lightened...
be back later girls..off to chop my hair & get some foils put in :D
WOJB ~ cloth'd up (boosted) / maz elmo minky cover
Just got an email from Darlings Downunder - they are donating 10% of their proceeds for today and tomorrow to the Bushfire Appeal. Fluff for a good cause.
A bit sad atm as DS is toilet training himself, and he's not even 9 months old yet!! He's telling me when he needs to go by crawling over to the potty and patting it. It's happening at least once a day for a couple of weeks now. 3 times yesterday, twice already today. Since he's teething so bad and got the poops, I've had to give him panadol, so I guess it's ok coz it's less messy washing and stains to worry about, but he's staying clean and dry and the LS is only getting used for cleaning the potty! Draws full of fluff gathering dust...
WOHB: nuffin. He kicked and fought me so hard when I tried to put a nappy back on him that I gave up, cried, and put him down to nap on a swaddlebees mattress pad!
HAHA.. what a clever boy you have there NaNa.. my 2 year old just holds his willy, lets go - and it fires all over the place. I swear.. he's got no clue whatsoever...
isnt panadol colour free? how does it stain?
ONe of the ingredients stains. It is only the Panadol brand that does it. We never have issues with Dymadon.
RayRay - twinklelily have gorgeous "cut for cloth" stuff. When bubs is a bit older, the trousers are definately worth getting as pumpkin patch / target / sprout brands aren't cloth-friendly and to get a bum big enough, the waist falls off Pip :(
When bubs starts walking, look for pants/trousers that have adjustable elastic waist, with the button elastic.
I need to do some washing :(
wohb - went to CC in BBB with PUL cover, will be in flanno flat with pilcher now. will be in either construction or christmas "funkywun" design from widdlewuns.
hmmm i forgot to say i got fluffy mail yesturday :D

its sorbitol that stains nappies

We have NR again....someone has eye teeth sitting waiting to pop through :o so much sooner then Vy did.
Ah Gigi. *hugs* to you gorgeous woman... a decision like that is difficult & daunting to make. At least you know you have maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaany many clothie mummies here that will help you out in any way we can. *hugs* to Bilbs too, just for good measure.
AJP - What a fantastic belly you have there! All beautiful baby I'll bet.
Maz - I swear you run on batteries woman. (Don't you say anything rude about batteries either...!!) ;)
We're still in spossies but I'm hoping that the bamboo velour & raw silk I've ordered from nappies covered will be here tomorrow or the next day... then we will see.
Sooooooo tired... we just had an overnight stay in Lorne & Miss Punk decided sleep is for suckers... *yawn* I feel all scattered like I've been partying all night or sumpin... no such luck though I'm afraid!!
Hoping everyone touched by fire & flood is keeping safe. xoxo
Hubby bought me some AIOs.
Baby will be born in winter so hopefully they dry fast enough as we don't have a dryer! :-)
Any tips?
Ummm... tips with what Amanda?
Maz - now I'm curious - you may need to email me!!! lol
No nappy related stuff here ... getting close.. countdown is.. well.. counting down..
maz- im curious, but guess i'll wait. dont have time to be noisy atm LOL
amanda- where abt r u? dry aios inside out will speed up the drying process, maybe put the clothes horse over the heating duct. if u can, look into getting other "styles" of mcns too, pockets should be the best as the shell drys really quick so as long as u have extra inserts u should b fine
gigi- hope u work something out, but as PP if u got nothing to lose in SA just leave altogether. u're welcome in all states :)
must get back to my much needed study. exam tomoro & im not ready :(
