taking cloth with us to adel wasnt as hard as i thought. i def overpacked though, only needed 6 as i gave them a wash each day & they dried pretty quick too! now jst gotta wash & repack for overseas!

this thread moves too fast !! used my WC the other day and got more leaks .. am waiting on monkey doodlez boosters .. i wonder if they will be better than the booster that came with the WC :think:

Spoke to the CC director today. She said that according to the department I have to supply a bucket and they have to use disposable wipes and flushable liners. Might have to visit Babies Galore for some. The Natures child ones are ok aren't they? I know eenies are scratchy.
Gee thats a bit rough Ali - my daycare has their own bucket and has never asked me to put liners in!!
Ali we had the same thing with CC. Must be the same auditor making their way across Townsville.
Ali I just got sent a pack of natures child liners. I'll post them to you :) I used 1 and the person who sent them (from off here actually) said she only used a couple so there is basically 200 there for you if you want them.

Alioops, if you don't want them to use disposable wipes on Em, this is how i got out of it. I said (which is true in our case) bilby is allergic to the propylene glycol in disposable baby wipes.
just like, if your child is allergic to nuts, they just accept that and deal with it.
same with the wipes issue.
it was easy.
tots bots and bummis liners i can vouch for, are lovely and soft.

monkey doodlez , i just bought the boosters to use in other nappies. i hope they'll be ok .. i havent relly heard rave or overly negative reviews about them .. all i know is that they are very large sizing !!

Lea - I have two monkey doodlez boosters here that I don't use - wanna swap for some baby beehinds boosters? ;) The MD's are brand new and I think I've used one once.... they bulk up her small MD's too much and I get leg gape

i got me some fluffy mail today - got my purple lady bug "sparkle" iishfly - very cute!
migth have to go put a load of washing on - i found Gigi's post about how many washes are needed to make all the materials properly absorbant (i'd rather wash early and have them absorbant from the start or i'll get frustrated with nappies that don't work!) - but she didn't mention how many times Sherpa needs washing to make it nice and absorbant - any ideas??
Okay nevermind found her size chart.
Can someone help me before I buy anything? If I want an AI2 day nappy, do I want fleece or PUL lined? Minky or MM fleece?
ETA - I just took a guess lol I did minkee, fleece lined.

i keep looking at the GF nappies BUT just can't bring myself to buy one... no idea why...BUT i seem to go for looks..if i like the look..well i buy it..don't get me wrong i 'kinda' like the look of the GF nappies but am not excited about them... this FB nappy...now i AM excited about this!!!

I use to hate sewing..couldnt do it for the life of me then one day I just did it...taht was 2 1/2 years ago and i havent looked back.
material I got.....skull heads with blue eyeballs on a black background with roses and vines...really cool and punk looking, cheeky monkey faces and little giraffe's that are so cute.
Anna - minkee fleece lined sound :dance: pics have turned out so well...thankfully ive got more polar beer's heading my way :p

BG - i think sherpa is 2-3 washes, thats what I remember from the Very Baby nappies I had for DS.
And Gigi ( I think it was you) thanks for the info on how often to prewash stuff, now I know why I thought my hemp pocket inserts were cruddy, theres no way I'd prewashed them 7 times.
