Got some great IB, gorgeous colours, on sale. Was waiting to get some snap in's (i have lots of snap in boosters, but no snap in nappies :doh: ) and she had 10% off!!! So 1 purple, 1 lilac and 1 raspberry on the way!!!!! :dance::dance:

okies ladies - just wondering if any of you use flats as back up for mcn's or when your bub was a newborn? i want to have some here to use when Gremlin first arrives, and to have for days when mummy just hasn't managed to get the washing up to date and dry - but i don't know how many to get.... any suggestions?
I use flats - flannelette at first and terry later when they weren't humungous on DS. I got 2 dozen flannies and 1 dozen terry, but I have a few extra terry ones now because I sent a few back to the manufacturer for a replacement and they sent me extra. The Actil rainbow ones are nice colours but crap quality.... Dont even go there.
The flannies were invaluable for us because DS was a happy chucker for 6 months (OMG how much less washing did I have when that finally stopped??!! :) ) and they were absolutely everywhere and went everywhere with us. I cant remember a day when I didn't have one over my shoulder permanently! I still use them on the change table and for DS's bot between him having a bath and putting a NN on him. I used them for at least the first 6 weeks full time, until I figured out which MCN I wanted to get more of. Still use the terries when I'm having a lazy day and there's a basket of MCN to be folded and stuffed and I can't be bothered. Too easy.
Still no fluffy mail here. Should have been here last week. I'm not happy...

Kaz - I got it from a lady that use to work with jed...she got it from ebay and heard around the traps I was after one. its bright blue and lime green.....just my kind of pram :dance:

BG - I used prefolds but ended up having so many fitteds and i didnt really use many. Id say get 6 hon just to have on hand.Honey - the dress looks devine!!!!!!! i got an invoice but there was no postage on it and it seemed so cheap...hmmmmmm

Bg, I had Harmony just in terry flats, with pockets as covers.... never leaked.. I folded in pad style or chinese fold with a snappy..
within weeks I had her in normal pockets, AIO, and fitteds/covers, so unless you want to use them for a while, you wont need heaps.. I used most of mine as spew rags!!! :lol:
