well it's offical I have bought my last nappy ever I think. I got the pink nebula for my Dd and i think that's it for me unless my stash goes up in smoke or something over the next few months :-)
PS can I just say OMGosh at how quick those nappies went at 1AM we are all nuts!!!!!!

raven- microchamios , is lush , nice and soft and really low low pill , its in my KK napppy and it keeps DS super dry and washes up nice.
I have just bought a new machine and wanted to give my skills a chance to make some nice aios they way i want them. Now i just need to find a pattern that has rolled leg casings and tabs like the bubble bubs nappies .. im sure i have seen one out there but i can remember ..
Gigi , i moved about 12 days ago.. im about 90% unpacked , i have been so busy and out and about every day , hardly anythign gets done .. there is still little piles of mess every where... ugh i hate moving too !
for those of you with front loaders : what do you wash you nappies on ??which setting ? i ve got mine in an eco setting but im worried the water is too hot .. ive noticed the quick wash is crap when washing nappies ... but 2hrs for a wash ... its a bit incon , when i have a luandry full of clothes that need washin too !!

Yeah tehre is a limit of 2 nappies per customer.
I woke up at 8 and there was still a nappy left so I am happy :) I gots me a honeyboy. Havent tried one so I hope they are good!
Ash used his bizy bee night nappy last night for the first time. His bits are all blue this morning hahahaha don't think the dye washed out properly with my prewashes. Worked though, think I need to boost the front a bit more. The back was dry, the front was soaked lol Typical boy!

maz - that cow-print fleece is at Lincraft. My friend just made her DS a wrap/sleeping-bag/blankie/pajama thing out of it. It's like a wrap at the top but with legs sewn in at the bottom. Great for the car & pram. Soooo cute!

um, nappies... waiting on a replacement Bear Bottoms fleece cover from NN. AP lost the first one. Grrr. Had our first poopy nappy in ages yesterday in the paediatrician's office :redface: DS was suddenly very upset, and the doc asked me why. I told him he usually goes on the potty and he didn't believe me. Silly man. I bet he'd be a bit upset having to poop in his pants. Unfortunately I had carried DS all over the countryside in the sling to get to the doc, so had minimum baggage with me and couldn't carry the potette too. I knew that was going to happen. But at least it didn't happen with DS IN the sling on the train or something. Stinky!!

hmmm nana...i would be interested in seeing what this wrap/pyjama/pantted thing your friend made....Jack gets wrapped at night BUT his wrap is the biggest size one can buy..and he is getting to big for it..and can escape muslin wraps...

well, i dont feel so much of an addict now, knowing that I didnt sit up at 2AM for a stocking!! Awesome for those who did score. I loved that neopolitan one.

well its day 3 and i am feeling a wee bit better. better do some washing of nappies today - but that will probably make me feel worse so back to the lounge!!

Someone was talking about washing at 90 degrees...
we generally wash everything in cold water only, and for this reason only actually bothered to buy a hose for the hot water outlet last week when I needed to clean out the machine.
anyway, none of the hoses that I could find were rated past 80C so my q is where do you get one that allows you to wash at 90C? I got mine at bunnings but 80 was as high as they went.
Maybe the new washing machine we're getting will come with them -as I said we rarely washing hot water but I wantto be able to if I need to.

i have NO idea what temp my machine washes on hot....it is using the hot now...i had to do a strip wash....nappies really pong of pee...could Jack's teething be making his pee stink to the high heavens?? that is what i am putting it down to....
I forgot about the CK stocking too lol - seems to be what I do now, forget about stockings!
Ooohparently some peeps bought more than 2, which is rude to start with, IMO, but they won't be getting them all! ;)

I must be so out of touch - didn't even know there was a stocking. Not that I look for them though. Don't need nappies :( Plus we are just about to buy a new (well new to us) car that is ... expensive... so we will absolutely have no cash left :(

Lesley was wonderful and understanding. I'd never heard of her limiting to two nappies before, and she said she doesn't usually. It was just because of the break for the rest of the month that she decided to.
Maz I'm so glad Mateauz will have some great fitting nappies. He needs them more than DS who can wear almost anything!
Now if only I can have as much luck hyena'ing for myself lol

Thank-you for all of your advice in regards to Phoenix's gastro. Luckily he only seemed to do one and was fine after that. Pity I couldn't say the same about myself :rolleyes:

They are SHYTE! wierd mesh binding around the edges, and worst of all - -NO LEG GUSSETS! I am gutted. They are going straight up so if anyone wants, let me know. A white and a lilac spot size 2.
She has to have gussets.
I dont know why they would have changed them, they were perfect the way they were! so sad when they mess with good nappies/covers and turn them to crap.

Also got my iishfly from B4B...still havent heard from iishfly yet either - MOST UNimpressed.
But got a red one with a big green star on the bum! YAY! Love it - it is her first red nappy :OMG: so I hope I dont turn everything pink....must wash in salt a couple of times I think lol
