I've had the same idea for my invites, except I'm going to make a trip to spotters this arvo and see if I can find some nice paper to practice a few pretty things with. Maybe you can help me put them all together ;) I've also had an offer from a very lovely lady to make some invites for me. For whoever asked about BBH Magicalls - I've just discovered they are too wide crotched for DS. After I bought about 12 brand new :doh: I'm making do with them for the moment.

teru - I have no idea how anyone manages without an LS. Even though DS hasn't had more than a few poopy nappies in the last few months (he goes potty now!) those few stinkers were enough to validate that purchase completely!! NN have them, dont know where else.

Pre LS, we used to squirt it on the lawn, and let the poo become fertiliser for the lawn. DH hated that because the girls would always poo when it was raining.

Now dont laugh i'm still a newbie... is there anything i have to put on them??? i was them just like the naps...

Also where can i get some rash cream??? i had to use a sposie last night cos nothing was dry and bam woke up with the start of a rash...

Ray, the pipe connecting your loo to the wall will either be solid or a flexible hose. Ours was solid and took a bit of jiggling to get it out.

god no don't do it. Your kid would be forever spelling the name, and correcting everyone who thinks there is a "d" in there (Melinda) I am so friggin over having to correct people that I just go by Mel. Much easier.

Plus - look up what it means in the medical terms... it ain't a pleasant thing.

Rayray- have you got some of that white silicone tape or plumbers tape? It will prevent any leaks. You can get it from the supermarket or $2 shop even. And just follow the instructions ie. don't install the cistern attachment first if it says to attach the hose to the wall first or whatever... for some reason it will leak like crazy if you do it the wrong way round. Or maybe that was just me...

WETBAG FOR MELB WEEKEND - i did that in January. Used a baby beehinds wetbag in the nappy bag (had two that size) that went in the car with us all the time. Kept a Swaddlebees "pail liner" wetbag in the motel room. ENded up taking the entire weekend's dirty mcn back with me on the plane (in suitcase) cos we weren't physically at the motel long enough, to do a wash (only went there to sleep).

Flushable liners were Da Bomb i must say, made not having a Little Squirt for a weekend, bearable. We used pockets the whole time away. and Night Nappies for tthe plane rides. Was easier to be in mcn 100% whilst away, than i expected it to be. but i did prepare for it, and read lots of travel posts with mcn e.g Nappycino have a forum section about that.
