Hi all,
thought I would pop my head in and say hi, because in three weeks time I should have a little pink bundle in cloth :D. I have a small stash, a pop-in, some HH's, soon to be some BG's, some terries, flannels and wool covers.
What does 'WO*B' mean?
I'm so in love with the pop-in, I think if it fits her well I might complete my stash using pop-ins. Do you think a pop-in boosted with the pop-in night booster would be enough for overnight???
I also love the HH's but I am all thumbs and stuffing them seems complicated LOL (but thanks Mel for the tip).
Its about time you ventured in to here! lol
Whats On X's Bum
Is you DH going to be doing many nappy changes, and are pop ins one size ( I cant remember). Im getting a smallish stash of sized, AIO nappies with aplix/touch take so that DH will change some nappies as theres no way he will go near a one size, a pocket, or snaps.
Hey Candice :)
Welcome :)
Re: pop ins - you'll have to see how much a heavy wetter she is before knowing if that will do you or if you will need a serious night nappy. Besides, you'll be changing her so many times during the night in the first few weeks, that absorbency isn't really a factor :)
WO*B - whats on his/her/aricyn's/mehkelti's (etc etc) butt
Thanks Ray & Mel.
Good to see you here too Ray, LOL.
I wasn't too concerned about NN's until she starts sleeping through the night, hopefully I have a good bubba who sleeps through nice and early.
Ray - pop-ins are adjustable OSFA's, with a double booster (but not a pocket). Pop-in's also have double leg gussets! They have applix and seem really easy to use, and DH has already figured out how to put it on (wahoo, lets hope that lasts!). They are my fav so far.
Might use terries / flannel and covers for the first few weeks. Oh and I have some small bamboo fitted's and wool soakers, and bamboo boosters and microfleece liners. That should get me started til someone enables me further ;).
Ah, you're a sweetie Mel! THanks honey! I've got a Mazzy tri-fold which should go in there quite nicely, and for all I know the seller may have bought it second hand herself and got it like that, so she may not have realised that there was anything missing. So I won't draw any conclusions as to her honesty until I hear back from her, she had a good rep so I'd be surprised if there was anything dodgy going on (I got it really cheap so I'm not too fussed either way)...
That's a bit of a bummer Suse :( Good luck!
Well after a nice sleep in the snoozywun (except where his singlet managed to get tucked in during the night so was a bit damp) I changed him into his monkey starbumz and he kept running up to his dad saying "monkey" which was very cute, he kept pointing at the actual monkey nose :)
WoHb - monkey starbumz
hey girls.
Well today is a sad day. I have been putting the fitteds on Ash, and I have realised that he is almost out of most of them :( This means the holden Ck too. He is wearing it now and he is on the last snaps, I kid you not. didn't get much use out of it :( He's only wore it 5 times.
Is there any other side snappers that are a larger sizing? That CK is a size 2... thinking about it his other CK size 2 is a little bigger but still he is growing out of that fast too... waaahhhh.
It sucks having such a big 7 month old.
Someone off B4B will love me when I list them :(
Poor bub has 2 sores on his bum from the poop. I think it doesn't help when he is teething though.
Mel - try starbumz, they are quite generous in the sizing. Also ecobubs. I've also been using a GNST as a day nappy with covers as they don't last overnight for us.
Mel don't sell them yet! Caleb was enormous as an 8 month old but when he started walking he lost a bit of chubb and changed shape and nappies fitted him again.
Aww Missy Mel - I'd love to have a big 7 month old - instead of a skinny 8 month old.. swap? hehe ;)
Suse - you can still have the booster if you like? I don't mind sending it up. Not quite a good quality bag - but its a start ;)
Not much happening here. My dogs are giving me the absolutely irrits. DH is putting collars on them today - they just won't stop barking.. grrrrr.. nothing works, so this is it. If the collars don't work its bye bye Keenan, bye bye Pepper.

I just want to say I love it when companies put their names on their boosters! It makes it so much easier to match them!!! I did have trouble working out out how my new fluffy bubs went back together but I think I've got it!
What is a GNST?
I tried an ecobubs and I don't like them :( Sold it last week.
I'll have a look at starbumz :) Thanks.
ETA: I hate pocket nappies so that starbunz is a no go :(
goodnight sleeptight. I think mel sells them as well?
I love having boosters labeled too. To the point that I might consider sewing some iron-on labels on the ones that confuse me!! If only I could find them..... I know I had some before we moved.
Missy Mel - Lets hope he starts walking early then so you can get him back into them. I wouldnt mind a chunky bub, Em is only 10kg at 20 months. Sarah is almost 15kg but she only wears nappies at sleep times and they have an extra snap on each side. She will be 3 next weekend :o Pockets are my leave till last stuff now too.
DH still didn't hang the nappies last night :wall: No Xbox today until EVERYTHING is done.

I was checking, it's a dream-eze I use as a day nappy (it works really well with PUL cover for long trips).
WoHB - Maz night nap (i've only washed it once but it should be OK for the day nap!) - must say, looks good for my little tummy sleeper here.
Hi all,
Qn about NC and knitting stuff... I can't find the knitting section at all. I must be a complete nuffy! Can someone point me in the right direction please. Thanks.
