i am a lazy wipes person :redface: disposable wipes...although only when i am out and for nanny....at home i use sherpa wipes :) and come to think of it...MOST times we have been at nannys house and she has changed Jack...she gets 2 face washers one wet and one dry...to wipe him and change him.
don't think we could use the foamy wipe solution...Jack has very sensitive skin....sucks being such a fair skinned lil man
I looked at the foamy wipe stuff but with DD and her sensitive skin i didnt want to risk it. We had the heat on last night... was Freezing here... But it was great my naps dried in no time and all fresh for today... at least i know i can hang the naps in the airer in front of the AC heat and they will dry... YAY...
So excited about next week... just wish i didnt have to wait anylonger for new fluff... YAY...

Not expecting fluff but am expecting my new hugabub sling, and it better hurry cause all this stopping to feed and rock River is driving me batty. If I stand or sit still for more than 5 seconds I get attacked by ferals :rofl:
I use sposie wipes for the moment as I am constantly wiping newbie's butt but when he's not pooping so much I might make the switch. Naughty I know but I figure Im allowed one no-no to make my life a tad bit easier..........

Kel - MIOI :) we use it every nappy change..regardless of wee or pooh''s. I got the banana flavoured one and it makes nappy changing time 'smell' nicer...also everyone knows how super sensitive Mateauz butt is but since we started using it every change we havent had a rash :dance: so finally we have found something that works for us. Bubbley bliss is going to be stokcing wipe wash very soon (shes at wahmnaps)

Rayray - when you put the arer over the heating bent, pop a couple of towels over the whole lot like a tent...they will dry waaaay quicker ;)
Oh, not that you would need to, but the pop-in covers cant go in the dryer. :)

woooooo hooo - i just got confirmation of the amount of my redundancy (that has been in court for FOUR years) and it's almost half again what i was expecting so next week i can pay off fluffy layby's and then look for something super spesh for my little Gremlin to celebrate. OMG - this money couldn't have come at a better time!
Ana- I LOVE my DD... its an AIO side snap one... Pic in my FB is u wanna check it out... Its super quick drying (i have ordered a 2nd snap in booster cos the outer dries so fast...) Its a slim snug fit on my DD... She isnt skinny just average... her legs are a little big (BLegs dig in)... Well for us its perfect... she has leaked once but it was on for a while. She is wearing hers now for a day nap... Ur making me want another now... naughty...

FINALLY received my itti bitti trial pack...woooohooooo. Gorgeous stuff...sooo fluffy! They did forget my flushable liners in the parcel though :( Have emailed and asked them to send them, and I WON'T be paying postage!
Also got a CT (with animals on it) and a Haute Pocket from B4B today...so quite a fluffy day! YAYYYY!

Baby Beehinds just rang me to say they'd just run out of their white covers and I'd ordered a small & a medium (and a pink & bamboo fold-ups) Now I am annoyed because if they had said they were out on their site I would have ordered some more MAZ covers because right now I have 1 cover only and I didn't want any other colour from Beehinds because I wanted something neutral for under pale outfits of her dresses. Now I'm going to probably order some more pretty maz ones (which look heaps nicer anyway) and have to pay 2 lots of freight because they'll have already sent my prev order. Damnit. Was soo peeved I cancelled my fold-ups too, am not paying freight for some fold-ups, will go through someone who actually has stock of what they sell before the end of May. Grrrrrr.

Eej - DH has no choice, and rather than uniform he has to wear a suit. Since it isnt a daycare day and he has to take the girls so he can look after them I have to go too, not that I can do much, but if either of them is sooky and just wants to cuddle I can do that. DH said he will only have a couple of drinks considering I cant drive, and he wont pass up a few freebies :lol:

Gigi – thanks for your response to my aware sensitive not dissolving question – I wash at 40 degrees usually – but I have now read the instructions to the washing machine (duhh – shoul dhave done it months ago!) and moved the flap thing up in the powder bit and now it’s all dissolved no lumps so yay! Might give the mama pads a try once my cycle returns as I’m trying to change everything in our house to re-usable (hence the change to mcn) – prob won’t happen for another 4 months or so as I’ll definitely feed isla until she’s a year (although she’s bitten me twice today – ouch so she’d better stop) and things don’t normally return until I sop bf.

Mel – scary when they fall asleep in the high chair – my ds#1 did that when he was around 14 months with a mouthful of vegemite sandwich – I tried to get it out but couldn’t so ended up spending half an hour sitting watching him until he woke up as I was so frightened he was going to choke – took a picture of it somewhere as he looked so daft – will have to post it.
Lea – grrr at your b4b seller – hope she replys and sorts out her stuff up. Poor Gabriella – but don’t feel guilty – we all do it – oscar’s had his forehead glued back together after I put him on our bed when he was 8 months old and he fell off it and landed on a pair of dh’s short and the metal button went straight in his head. I still feel guilty when I look at his little scar (he’s 4 ? now).
Jess – sorry to hear about your friend – so sad when it happen to young mums.
Kaz – Caddie lives about 10 mins away from me and although we’re officially classed as Perth metro, post still seems to take a few days longer to get here (and I presume be sent from here also) so hopefully you’ll get your package soon.

Fluffy news – well apart from my Tuesday delivery of Gks I ahven’t had any nappies this week – am so disappointed as I’m waiting to prewash the gks until I have more to put in with them – I’m waiting for 11 more nappies so far. I’ve had deliveries of wipes and wet bag (lovely leslie’s boutique one) but no nappies – waaah – I am so impatient! I ordered most of them on Sunday but a few more in the week so it’s understandable I haven’t had them. Getting on first name terms with the auspost courier lady – hahahah
My questions for today;
1 – is it ok to use the aromababy barrier balm with MCNs – it doesn’t have any zinc in it only natural stuff
2 – when I finally get my nappies can I wash them all togther to start with or will the colours run into each other?

Thanks for all your kind thoughts in regards to my back...its an old work place injury that hasnt played up in 10 years....to cut it short I was told never to have kids as i twisted my pelvis, pinched nerves and slipped 3 discs. Those slip disc's fussed together naturally very un straight and have started hurting again recently. But hey I will live...there are plenty of people worse of then me.

Well, I have to say I'm sooo impressed with my, I mean DS's, Swaddlebees. I had a full-on afternoon of hauling DS in the sling all over the country-side, and two trains were cancelled and the next one delayed, so I was nearly an hour late for an appointment at the sleep disorder clinic (u-huh!) and DS fell asleep in the sling on the tram on the way back to the city before I could get to a parents room to change him. So, all up, it was nearly 5 hours, and although it was absolutely soaked, the nappy didn't leak and I didn't get wee all over me even though DS was squished against me for so long.
DS wasn't happy when he woke up on the crowded commuter train tho! I was just in the middle of telling a newly pg lady all about slings and BB when he woke up screaming! I was just about to get onto the topic of MCN but it was my station and I had to get off...
