Thanks NaNa when she wakes up I'm going to try it on. She's in her ecobus right now and thats a similar size and it fits well on the smallest snaps. I agree I don't think the HH will be a fav but I wanted to support breast cancer.
TK- that's a shame about your parcel. I learnt to register where possible after losing one a few months ago. A complaint was lodged with AP but in my case they could never find it :(
I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited about the baby expo this weekend! I can;t wait to meet shell from cushie tushies and check out all the other stands. I'm actually going twice! Sat to help out and then SUnday to look around cause my folks could only watch EM for a few hours (which is all i'd want them watching her)

Eej, I actually really like my HH pink ribbon. It is crinkly but it fits Em perfectly and is easier to see if the PUL was to start having issues. It is one of the only pockets that I like to use, and it is easy to stuff coz the booster doesnt get stuck on the PUL.

Finally got a useful OB come in to my appointment today!! They still dont want to schedule anything until next fornight, but chances are that she will stay put and they will use breech presentation as the reason for CS at 39 weeks. If she does turn and a VB does damage then I will sue the hospital. Ended up going into appointment 2 hours after the scheduled time though :rolleyes: So it looks like she will be here on the 12th or 15th of June. My BP was ok today too which is good
My Amber necklace arrived today!! It is great!!! The magnets are really strong and Linda was really quick!!
WOTB: Nappies!! Em was in bed when I got home from my appointment and Sarah has been changed since the bumg went on so I dont know what is on her.

Funny story
My boy has been in cloth for two days and I have run out :wall: so his last change around 3.30pm was a disposable - until the rest dry and should be ready for assembly later tonight. Anyway, I started to put it on - and he frowned at me!!! It was the funniest thing - like he was saying - whats with the scratchy stuff mum??
Mail today was a red & white striped Ecobub (drool) - they fit so well and dry so quick .... I think I will now raid Mel's store for the navy and white one now :lol: I ordered 2 x Itti's on the weekend so when they turn up I should be nearly fine for a while once I finish with Mel's May Madness sale :p
Also my CT couture that leaked a few days ago went a 2.5 hour sleep today with no leaks - so it musta just been the abosorbency building up - phew! He seems to sleep well in that nappy ..... LOL

Ali glad that your BP was good today and that you have a rough estimate as to when your little girl will be here.
Sami Julian is doing the same thing, he loves feeling the nappies and as soon as a sposie on him he's not so impressed.
When is the Brissy baby expo I went two years ago but couldn't make it last year, will defineatly be going this year with lots of money for nappies.
A few questions:
I looking at going cloth full time, what sort of night nappies are there and what do you recommend?
What sort of cream can you use on his butt for a bit of nappy rash?

Thanks Gigi and Limeslice- I was typing in buy4baby instead of buyforbaby which are totally different sites! I bought my first ever MCN today- two pink BBH bamboo fitted- so exciting. I tried it on DD and then put a sposie on her and took the BBH off so I could wash the BBh and she cried so I gave it to her and she has carried it around all day, cuddling it! I will give them a few washes and try them out.

ive havent been very well....and spent last night in hossy getting a cyst on my bum drained..lovely experience NOT...so now that all this stuff leaking everywere im thinking I might have to go and make a booster or 2 to soak it up cause the dispoables gawes are just yuck!!!!
need to go dress my babies (god I missed them last night)

FWIW, I never took my amber bracelet off from the day I got it (1 week before baby) and i dont know if it really worked or not, but I pushed for 2 hrs with a posterior baby whose head was tilted (in the end I had an syntocin and an epi with a vacum extraction) I also had a 3rd deg tear, and only had regular panadol for relief. Everyone kept telling me how brave I was/how badly I had been thru the wringer, but TBH, the pain wasnt that bad.
I dont have anything to compare against, but I have a strange sort of faith in my bracelet.....

Ali do you have the HH booster or do u use another one? I didn't buy the HH one cause it was $12 on its own and I got 3 hemp boosters from SHP for that. Do u think one of those would be ok in it?
