lol good thing DS name starts with a H then!! cheers:D
at the moment i cant even remember wat DS has on his butt coz its hard to remember after all the squirming and running away that he does and being preg and scatterbrain lol
i cant wait to put NB nappies on approx 20 weeks to go lol and i cant wait till friday coz thats when i can put in my order with maz for covers ;)
Sorry  shows I havent beenin here in along time..
WOMB does stand for WHATS ON HIS/HER BUTT.
PUL covers....they dont do anything for me...I found that my kids got bad NR with them as the PUL kept heat in rather in evaporate it and the wetness.
Snappies...Big W have them or check out Bizy bee...from memory Sarah had a bucket load to shift.
SOOOOOO annoyed....nothing is drying  and I cant even put my nappies in the dryer on low as its BROKEN!!!!! ahhhhhhh
Has anyone seen any longies up for sale yet? Tank has outgrown his in the length so desperately need some more.
Bugger I have a new page and cant remember see who posted about washign wool. I wash my longies in cold water on a gentle cycle int he washign machine and i havent shrunk them...BUT J man washed for me last winter and totally stuffed up 2 pairs on me...god I could have killee him!!
WOMB - moo cow aurial
thats why i go the safe option, hubby doesnt do different loads lol its all on ordinary wash or it dont get washed with him..
WOMB: black itti bitti with night booster.. fingers crossed lol
i just received 4 cushie tushies osfm (got them on sale for $12.50 each). They are massive! i wasn't expecting them to fit my little one yet but i reckon it will be ages til they fit. You like cushie tushies?
kate, i got 2 2ndhand and i thought the same thing! i looked on the website and it says 4kg and up, i cant see them fitting for much longer than that!!
i have 2 cushie tushies and i must say i am definately not a fan. i love the minkee feel and patterns but thats it. i find them big, dont fit around DS legs well and leak if i dont put both boosters in. even if both boosters are in it still leaks at times. DS is 6kg now so i am hoping that eventually they might fit better, if not they are spares just in case.
thats another thing, what PUL covers are good for early use? i bought a small bbh cover and it seems really big...i also have a small thirsties and tots bots that dont look AS big are there any others i should consider? wool are a no go in our house, both DF and i get a rash from wool so i am avoiding having anything wool that will be touching bubs...
cmarfol - bbh do make a newborn cover. i have them and they fit DS perfectly when we bought him home. he was just under 3kg when he came home and they fit him up until just over 4kg.
I've read that thirsties and bummis brites (with gussets) are the best PUL covers. I went straight to the OSFM last time so I haven't used covers before but this time I want a snug little newborn fit for the first few months before we move into the OSFM.
We're have all the old clothey mama's gone?
Im feeling very out of place in here
Im here Maz
i'm here...
newborn covers.....we have been loving thisties duos and newborn size motherease rikkis...prolly the rikkis are the most used here.
oh and I finally get to say this:
WOCB: small itti bitti, not sure on colour daddy changed him...lol
It has changed... I tried to join in this chat thread ages ago but it was impossible. The group was so tight knit then. I'm glad of newbies so I can join in :D
Do I count Maz?
I don't see many from last year in here really.
Been out and about lately so haven't had a chance to say hi much so "hi"! Waiting for wrigglebots to restock a bunch of minkee i spotted last custom order and seem to have disappeared. I have permission to make another fluffy order :D
WOCB: errr.......... NFI as I was cooking and DP put it on, but i hear her pooing......... Soon to be naked for bath time.
Im so sorry you felt it was like that :(. It took me over 4 months of persistance to try and get people to hear me when I first started in here. I now understand why though. Its hard to have to repeat continuously over and over to people about MCN's only to have them leave without a thank you. yes they do :( and thats probably why it was so tight knit. But in saying that Ive tried to be helpful to everyone :(
anyway....
Melbel - I am so happy to finally see a WOHB honey
Ali - how did those nappies go that were found in the bucket...are they livable at all?
cmarfol - Nelle swears by rikki's...she loved the leg gussets for pooh contamination and explosions
I love rikkis and bummis covers, from having used them on other people's children! So I have 4 of each for NB use, and a few otehr bits and bobs I have picked up 2nd hand.
Have some BBH woolies, got them very cheaply.
maz - knitting some longies right now! I'm not real quick, or good, I just love knitting. I've done two soakers already, but thought I'd give some longies a go as I'd forgotten how cold Brissie winters are! And at my rate, it will be next winter by the time they're done. So I could do some for Tank, but by the time I finish these, start some for him, I'd be giving them for his 21st! :D
Ammaki - snappis are all over the place! Ebay usually has some, Big W-Kmart-Target etc usually have them. I haven;t seen any at Coles for a while, I just grab them whenever I see them, so not sure exactly where they all came from. I did get one at an op shop last week. And some pins - why not? Grand total of 70c outlay...
No bot to report on, no fluffy mail on the way. :( Did nab a great deal on wool at Spotlight on the weekend though. For the woolies I'll never finish...
