I use Rockin' Green some of the time, I get mine from a friend down here in tassie that has a little store (green waves) so I don't have to pay delivery.. LOL

Hey QM! I don't like the RG - it made my nappies stiff (well, I think it was the RG) and I don't think it made that much of a diff to any smells.............
What have you got in your NB stash? After all of my trial and errors with Laa I think we have the perfect NB combination......

OMG Kitt3n THAT IS a NB stash! I have bugger-all in the way of NB fluff - used flats with Punk & will do again, but I seem to have lost some covers along the way. Have 2 of Maz's in NB, a bummis super wisper wrap, a small BBH PUL & a motherease riki. I never bothered with prefolds, & the couple of WAHM NB naps I had are now somewhere where I don't know where they are...! Have some no-name (or forgotten name more like) NB terry fitteds, like 4, but that's it. Too poor to consider stocking up on NB stuff at this point, will endure until he can fit into other stuff... but, damn woman, I'm jealous!! ;)
i am so excited! i have been converting a couple of girls at work onto MCN's and steering them away from sposies!! one isnt even pregnant yet and the other is due in 14 weeks. plus i am about to order some material to try and make my own fluffy stuff and adjust it for a better fit for DS. hopefully it works well. a bit excited here lol.

JwithJ - I think that is anything but crappy - but you almost have more covers than nappies lol, you better *steal* a bunch of those flats... ;) I have the opposite promblem, however!
ETA: Damn you ladies with your fancy-pants NB stashes... I just bought 2 covers, 2 bubblebubs fitteds & 3 kissaluvs!!
i do too but i like to change covers when i change nappies so that will work for me plus i dont like pul so i wont use those so much coz maz covers hold in pooplosions well in my experience they hold them in lol
LOl @ the fancy thing - it's just what I knew I would want after having Laa in cloth from day one, and most of the fitteds/contours were all bought really cheap along the way, even well before we conceived! It really was a slow collection.

We mainly use the cheap Chinese Ebay AIOs, they have been fine so far!
currently our stash is:

5 Fuzzibuns (gift, but work fine, although the cheapies are nearly identical)

halltribe - I actually bought half of the BB's before we were even planning on trying - I fell pregnant the month they arrived. They came with some serious baby dust! DH and I were actually having a few drinks and he helped me to get them. Was just one of those things! Yes we did score that GD set, it's so pretty I keep looking at the pics on the blog. I have just been very lucky on the Auriel side.

Yes - I agree the GD rose set is just beautiful - i ma sure it has gone to a lovely home. All you girls having babies is just lovely - I love the anticipation!

....if anybody sees cheap pop-ins new or second hand, can you let me know? I've heard they are an okay OFSM for NB, and I am a cheap ass so quite like OFSM lol.

All these people with lovely newborn stashes. I've got some magic-alls left over from DD1 that I hate, but will use again cos can't afford to buy much. Got 2 mandy macs and a CTBD. And I'm getting some secondhand widdlewuns and some new ones too (begged for a custom pack haha)
But thats about it.. nothing exciting for my newborn!!!

Well we r in sposies for the next 10 days :( very upsetting cos some 2nd had naps I bought the other day arrived yest. Mr c is on antibiotics that give him the runs as well as paracetamol for an infected gland in his bum that ended up needing surgery. The nurses all loved his baby legs tho lol

afm, busy cutting out patterns and such to try and make DS his own nappies. going to try a side snap one and see how i go. will do a mock up first and go from there. he has pretty much almost outgrown the pea pods we have which just leaves our fitted bbh bamboo and hemp, bumg, haute and bbh multifit. so thats 7 nappies that will last for awhile longer yet.

Getting 6 customs made by the lovely christie at Widdlewuns, 3 for the new bub (unisex) and 3 large for DD1 - cos I'm sure she's sick of having plumber's crack... But I've got her in flats too which I'm loving - but DH hates them.

oooh i have fluffy mail on the way! first lot of fluffy mail since may. so excited. i got a bbh petite in metro print for $20 from the fb sale of little bear bums. i cant wait to get it and try it on DS. my first side snap so hopefully it fits him well. i also sold some too on fb. got rid of my EARFTS which were a shocking fit and so far 1 of my 2 cushie tushie coutures. just waiting to see if this other lady wants my last ct.

Ummmm.... got some WTF fluffy mail. DH's grandmother knitted us some soakers. they're like nanna knicker sized, They're absolutely enormous, but with tiny waist and leg holes. Seriously, even a double nappy would be swimming in them. I'm worried she didn't know they were for the baby?
On the plus side, MY knitted soakers look awesome. Thinking maybe a hot wash with detergent to try and shrink them a bit?
In other news, I got caught in the rain yesterday. No big deal (except for the TENS machine in my handbag, but the kind folk at **** Smith gave me plastic to wrap that in) but this guy started yelling at me to get out of it. So I stood on the stoop of his workshop, he gave me a towel. When the rain stopped, he told me to take it with. I said "thanks, I'll make nappies out of it" So he gave me 4 more, and then his assistant walked out and offered me 15 terry flats that her daughter isn't using. Yay! So I will have about 20, and I think I might do a bit of a dye job.

i dug out some flats that were in my sewing box....wow im so glad ppl invented MCN!! but def better than sposies. we have some pixie poppits on the way, im stalking tthe postie lol cos we r also waiting on a jolly jumper and some amber cos mr c has decided nows a great time to start cutting teeth :wall:
