...add 2 large itti's to my postmans list. *hides* How could I not? I can get two for the price of one?!:
I got eight of them yesterday! 5 large for dd in neutral colours and 3 mediums ready for when Ds moves up a size. I have to stop now!
Oh i don't feel so bad then XD:
I am always to scared to go neutral beacuse they're so light.. I always get the blues, reds and greens. I figure if we do ever have a girl she'll be fine in a blue or green nappy :)

I got the dreaded green and chocolate as I figure they can both wear it I am hoping the ivory ones wear well too.
i got green too XD With all these green nappies he can spend all day in one of those and a red singlet on chrissy day haha!! (assuming that summer will get its butt into gear and actually get here!):

ive got a cream itti aio, and its great, df put her in her high chair the other night and she got spaghetti sauce on it :doh: that all washed out, i rinsed it first, and it all washed out!
the next bub's a girl so im getting most of them in pink and purple i think, not sure what is comming but i want to save up and get some nice embroided ones next.

I got one Itti. Medium Jade one. Not buying smalls. Only have one & it does fit, but mediums fit too & will fit longer, so I'll stick with them for now.
Got 2 pink CT's yesterday & 2 wool soakers. Haven't used soakers yet. They feel itchy. Are they? Or is it just me??

Got 4 - one each of pale yellow, dark yellow (can't remember the exact shade name atm) pink and (a dreaded) light green - $25 ea (inc postage cause I've got a postpack bag here from trying to sell them earlier in the year) - they've got the long insert and a small booster each both microfibre. DS only wore them a couple of times each.:

sooooooo i just took advantage of the 'smoothspecial' at BBH! monkey man got 3 new nappies, good thing iz has worked out that velcro comes unstuck, otherwise they would have both ended up with nappies! i wonder why they stopped putting snaps on them? anywho, somehow my fingers ended up typing in the bubblebubs website and each of them got a new nappy plus some new wipes and some yummy smelling wipe concentrate...*sighs* i thought clothing was ment to be cheaper than sposies! lol
Velcro on DD would last 3 seconds lol. I have the old smooth style with snaps so they're safe on DD. With a sposie at night I got a few of the bonds overpants thingos and I have to put them on lightning fast or nappy comes off!

does the velcro scare any of your little bubs? I try to avoid velcro with summer coz undoing it scares the crap out of her! even if i go slow.

DD first startled with velcro when I got shoes for her. She loved wearing her shoes so learnt to associate the sound with being able to STOMP :lol:

OMG! I scored 3 Maz cloth pads in her stocking. Starting with 3 first up! How many do people that use have for full time use?
I put a nappy on DD before and changed it 5 minutes later because she pooed :lol: At least it was in the nappy and not on the floor

CL - I had Mr I with no nappy to air just before & my brother rang. That phone call was cut short 'caus he poo'd on the floor - at least it wasn't on the rug.

i just had 2 messages, all up 6 of my nappies i paid for this week are on there way!! i think that leaves 5 waiting on the payment to clear! no idea whats happened to the 4 magicalls that were posted out late nov...might have to do some nappy chasing i think! but i dont want to seem rude or impatient if the lady is stuck in the floods... apart from the magicalls, i think 3 are ittis and can not remember for the life of me what the others are!!!
as for the velcro, i think it sounds like the rip-tabs on disposabler, so dd is use to it. hope she gets use to it as she gets bigger! tho i must admit sometimes its more irritating than the sound of nails on a chalkboard!
ooo poor you having to clean it up! DD won't wee or poo without a nappy now. She lays down where I change her to get a nappy on if she needs to go. No luck on the potty yet though, she finds it intimidating:

I have 9 and for now that is enough for me washing every day (you don't want them sitting around longer than that anyway. I dont think it'd be good for them soaking that long iykwim) I have 5 smallsies, 2 middsies and 2 biggsies XD:

Shhhhh, I have a secret! I am going to have a NB fluffy bum to pat in about 8 and a half months! Now to do some reasearch and try convince DP that we NEED tiny fluff! At least I wasn't getting fat around my pelvis just from overindulging!

hehe ty! I feel like I'm going to burst I am so happy! I have to keep it quiet because I want to check everything is okay before I tell my parents 3000 kilometres away. Mum is such a worry wart! Now so does everyone think flats and prefolds with covers is the way to go for ease and budget?

yes at the start but DD has moved onto smalls in most nappies and covers but the NB maz covers still fit but DD has fat rolls but DS never had them he probably would have been in NB's for a lot longer
DS peed on the floor 3 times today within minutes of removing the nappy grr all on the carpet that pretty much never happens

:leap: congrats CL!! tbh i found flats really hard when DS was nb. i found prefolds & nb sized fitteds the best fit but DS had quite scrawny legs until 2 months ago...
clover- hehehe i wont tell promise :) i really want a chrissie nappy but so far havent seen one that i loved enough to buy :( i prob dont need one anyway, we have a snowman outfit (see FB for those of u who have me) that is v cute.

Crazy lady i have a shib load of n/b / smalls mostly bbh, some kissaluvs a swaddlebees you're more than welcome to once bimby has grownout of them, i dnt like flats and prefolds personally

Congrats CL!!!!:confetti: yep, ive got 2 small pink ittis waiting for new bub to fill. but im thinking of getting some flanell flats like they have at the hospital for the first few weeks, thinking they would be easyer to deal with the constant nb poos.
i messaged the lady about the magicalls, she sent them express post on the 27th nov, with a few other orders whe she contacted and thery havent recived theres yet either, so she is going to the post office tommorow to chase them up on her end, fingers crossed they show up!!!
im thinking i definately have to get some cute embroided ones, dd is officialy crawling everywere, and found her speed today, man can she move!! i now have the perfect excusse, shes crawling, so will show them off while shes on the move! just to get the $$ up for them now!
not related but my ds1 graduated 4yo kinder today, primary next year!

Thinking mighht get some bamboo flanelette, a cheap packet of teri toweling nappies and jump on my sewing machine making prefolds or maybe get some velcro and try a osfm style like the BBH ones. hmmm, now i'm dreaming :lol:
CL - congratulations!!! How exciting!!! And new born fluff - woot woot. We used prefolds and covers plus BBH petites on DD and they were awesome.
