I've got a couple of bumcheeks christmas ones, they are lovely nappies, had absolutely no leaks with them yet. I'd love to get a couple more, but can't justify buying more til I get rid of some of Miss M's stash,...... hmmmm, that's never stopped me before though.
I'm really loving cloth nappies. I do FDC and my one parent who uses cloth has just gone back to them, yay, 3 days less disposables in my garbage, I really can't stand how much extra garbage they make. Now to just convert the other parents.
WOMB - starbunz puppy
we have the starunz cow, theyre sooo cute!!
so glad to hear the bumcheeks work well for u! cant wait to get them on Iz, and bub when he's here, i got the unicorn and tiger ones
just went and googled CB's, owner sounds like a peice of work!
i'm hearin ya on the bins. over chrissy we forgot to put ours out, so it had two weeks worth of rubbish in it and was only just over half way full... before with sposies we would have had to start piling up bags around it after two weeks XD
Here too Helle. Our recycling bin didn't go out & has only just gone this morning coz it only goes once a f/n!
We have so many boxes & paper all waiting for DH to do a tip run  All the christmas rubbish! Useless DH is driving me nuts!
No fluff for me today :( I think I just went for regular mail for this one, so it could be a while. Might look up the seller, see if she's away from the flood zone...
Was buying stuff from one of the girls affected by the floods, but she's just lost everything. Can't get back to her house, its under water. I don't know if I should contact her about it or not... I won't yet, but not sure if I should at all. Its going to take a long time to recover from all this.
Floods are sposed to be heading our way... fabulous!

There was a garbo strike here not long ago... more than a few sposie bins overflowed. I just smiled at them as I pegged out my "too much hard work" nappies.
That said, thank god for sun!! Whole stash currently dry, plenty to go on with in floods.
Also, just had our first proper poosplosion! In a GF Ai2 - did an ace job, but bubba's prettiest outfit got contaminated. Bummer.
We have officially outgrown Bambooty smalls.
WONB: Green Auriel.
We're lucky to quarter fill our bin. We use mostly recycleable packaging and food scraps go to the chooks.
Still no Abby Gro shell has arrived. I think I might just have to write it off. Spewin' because it was a gorgeous shell.
Did you mean how much vinegar for your DH's uniform to soften Helle? Audax said 40mls a few pages back.
DD bought half of the sandpit back from playgroup in her nappy today. For some reason she was wet after an hour in an Abby Gro.

 I wish I could avoid a full bin! Ours only go every fortnight & our recycling bin fills so fast! I usually end up just putting recycling in with the rubbish coz there's no room in the yellow bin.
We have green (garden & food waste) as well that goes every week, but we only use it for lawn clippings & its lucky to go out once a month!
I use vinegar in all machine washes except nappies. I just fill, or half fill the softener compartment. I won't use softener coz the build up can clog up your machine. I've had it for 2 years now & when I first moved up here I left it with DH. I made him promise he wouldn't use softener, but he did  He's the same as the others!
Got busted so big on Monday! I forgot to put the parcel packaging in the bin...
'You get more nappies? How much you spend?'
'About $30.............' Oh how I lie...
WOSB - hmm.... oh yeah, white swaddlebees.
Mine don't go on the line. They go on a clothes horse out the back. I spread them out as best as possible (I mean layed out) so there is no stretching in the elastic.
I used to peg them one end up, before Mel said something to me about the elastic.
yeah the whole elastic thing never occured to me until i was reading something on the buy and sell your mcn page.
i usually just fold mine in half across the line and peg smack bang in the middle of the crotch... should probably stop doing that
That's how I do mine on the rack - that I lug out and in when the sun allows. Although I do put mine length ways across the line so that the elastic is on either side of the line IFYKWIM. (I think I had a pic in the BB albums about it early on. Might see if I can find it again to show you what I mean.)
ETA Here's my pics
We don't hang them out either and instead use a clothes horse. No pegs. More that we are lazy rather than elastic conservation - LOL
Full of Qs today.
Stay dry liners. "low pill fleece" work or does it have to be specifically microfleece??
