Stoked - were they brand new or seconds? If they were brand new, I think they come with 6 months guarantee? So you should be able to get them replaced.
Kitt3n - where do you get ecostore from? I'm using rockin green at the moment cos one of the NA chickies gave me a big bag for free, but usually I just use my earth choice liquid and some canestan.
As for CT's - I purchased some seconds on ebay when I first started out and I think it turned me off them forever using them on my kids - just not the right shape, but I do know LOTS of people who love them. I just don't think they are absorbent enough for my heavy wetters.

Mel, yes they were brand new. And one of the snap ins looks as if the stitching is coming undone!
I'm not 'allowed' to use 2nd hand nappies! DH thinks it's gross and said that we wouldn't buy 2nd hand undies for ourselves so we won't be for Archie either! Haha
My DH was like that too when we were starting out - I think it took about 18 months before he got over that and said we could buy secondhand :):
most of my naps have been secondhand no problems and jamie has some second hand jocks which will probably fit when hes ready to TT :o (hope that never happens lol) i dont have a problem with that coz they were given to me plus i highly doubt size 2 jocks were worn very much :)

Ok girls. I have saved up 100 bucks to blow on nappies! which should probably get me, what, 3ish XD
So what should I get?
I was thinking maybe a tutto, Abby gro and another wool cover for all my flats around home (which will be handy as the one I have now is in the wash, be good to have another one on standby...)
Or should I get three abbygros... Or three tuttos... Or try something diff?

WOJB blue camo CT. The dead one that crunches and has no elasticity left ^^; the last one left that isn't wet or dirty (except for the IB I'm saving for when we go out today). Damn you humidity!!
ETA OR I could get about five cheap Bumsup ones which are surprisingly pretty good.

Most of our nappies are second hand. Nearly all of them actually. I wouldn't want to buy new if I couldn't resell!

How much is ecostore powder on average? I looooooooooooove RG and I got mine for 20% off in the nappy hunt. Only onto second bag now and just cracked it. I've found it brings up my nappies gorgeous but I wouldn't mind doing a comparison with ecostore and was our linen and DD's clothes in it. My face has a nasty patch of excema type psorriasis (sp?) rash from my pillow because they changed the sensitive liquid I used.
Helle I think go with what you know if your stash in low. If you are happy with AG and Tutto then stick with them. They are both ace nappies! I have soooooooo many that only did DD for a few months because she started outwetting them, the shape on her changed or they didn't suit length wise. I love the way abby gro seem to change shape with her as she develops or stocks up for a growth spurt.
POURING RAIN here again so I have a mountain of washing. Nappy boosters went into the dryer last night so they didn't get the been damp for ages smell about them. I put a drop of lavendar oil on a facewasher in with them to avoid the stale dryer smell.

CL it's usually about 8-9 bucks a box but quite often is on sale for 5-6. I only ever buy it on sale, and I buy four boxes at once to make the most of it :)

Thanks for letting me know about the specials. I will keep an eye on sales and stock up before my RG runs out. It'll last another 2 months I reckon but I might get the ecostore to do our linen with for the time being. My face is driving me batty. I hate when manufacturers stuff around with a product that works perfectly fine as it is!
yup, itti one day sale, i went on to get a wet bage, ended up with a tutio? and extra booster set for it, whops! my reasoning, it should fit both girls when this one comes, and dd is outgrowing her medium dlish's?
yup i thought it was the cutest one still available the other night! and i ended up getting a extra booster to go with it, just incase, i know she has a peechee we cant wear out as she cant be in it for long, not to happy about that one!
we finaly have sun again today!! so ive got a load hanging out. the last load i had to hang in dd's room on the clothes airer/horse thing, only place we haver room for the blasted thing, wont when bub comes tho, there will be another cot there.
so much for uniform shopping, mums just returned my car so i can drive myself arround n try get my p's, but has no way of getting back to hers so is hanging out here..
