My god, my nappies aren't having much luck lately... I walked in on them being put thru a 95* wash cycle. Jack must have changed the machine settings. Damnit!

Hey all,
New thread!! Woo!
I am on day 5 of our holiday an so far doing well with cloth! Her bubblebubs candies are too big for her atm so down 4 nappies. Lucky i bought like 15 with me and spare boosters! Lol.
Oh has anyone tried the earth choice washing machine liquid?? Its environmentally friendly, chemical free etc and only $2 for a litre!! I wasnt going to buy eco store foe $8.90 for 3 more days so i got the ecostore abd hopefully its good! They hve a wool and delicates one but its eucalyptus and i cant stand that smell!'
Mummaj: ooh fluffy mail hopefully thos week!
Helle: boo to the hot wash! I did then on 65degrees accidentally today!
WOCB sposie for bed time.
Sent from my iPhone so sorry for the spelling and punctuation!!
I use the earth choice dish washing detergent. I'm not really sure how "Chemical free" their range is. But it is cheap!
I use the dishwashing liquid but never tried the clothes washing stuff. The dishwashing liquid doesn't burn the S*&^ out of my hands like all the others. I am too happy with ecostore washing powder to swap now
I never tried it on clothes because even tho it's $2 you would need to use more liquid as it's not concentrated, BUT could be a good option for nappies as you only use half the recommended dosage :)
Let us know how it goes!
Well we have had our first full 24 hrs cloth stint!!! Pretty happy with our efforts :)
Unfortunately his issy bear has leaked out the side so he is now in a sposie. Just till morning tho :)
i got a box of earth choice here a few months ago and couldnt wait to finish the box as it left my clothes all stiff! once we finished the box i changed it to something else.
yea ive used the washing liquid (for dishes) it didnt work very well...so we dont use it. cant see us trying the clothes stuff, we have all the heavy duty stuff for DH work clothes. when washing CN what should you do? i take it not hot, cold?
oh and another quick question.. what is WOCB? WOWB? WO?B? ok..waiting i think i worked it... 'whats on ? bum'? the ? was confusing me cause i was like 'walkers'? crawlers? then what was 'J', then realised is it bubs name?? hehe
Haha well done!
wowb- sposie :( we are going out and getting some last wear out of a gorgeous little pair of trousers which almost don't fit... No way I'd fit cloth under them!
Oh and to answer your Q-
I keep it pretty simple, rinse of poo, throw in pail, then wash every 2nd day on 60 deg wash.
I prefer 40deg but dh likes 60. Bossy thing he is.
You can't wash any mcn's above 60. Also don't use softener or nappisan.
I can't believe how much the sun removes the stains! sometimes if I've been slack on the pre rinsing they go on the line with shocking poop stains and come back in looking brand new!!!
FLUFFY MAIL!!!!!
My candies came :D
wowb- red peapod
Hi all :)
New thread, lubly :)
No new nappies here lately. Stash is complete for now. Haven't felt the urge in a while ;)
I've stopped using earths chice & started using Aware powder. Earths choice kept leaving a residue on the bamboo & I have a few Itti's that have started falling to pieces :(
Haven't had a problem with Aware yet & it seems to wash much better :D
Mum & dad have the Earth Choice laundry liquid & I was going to add a few drops when I washed at their place, but it has fragrance in it, so with Summer's eczema i didn't want to risk it. I do use their washing up liquid though. I get a rash under my wedding rings with any other type of d/w liquid.
I should really do a strip wash in the next few days.... Wish I had my dryer! Would be happy to do it! Spose the fire will have to do, since nothing's drying outside atm.
Geez... I haven't been in here a while... feeling a buying urge coming on... best go get bread & milk to distract myself ;) ;)
WOSB - purple itti
fluffybuns is having a nappy stocking and i am super interested in buying a pop in but trying desperately not to!!!!
WOHB - bbh multi fit in twilight purple
well i caved and just bought my first pop in for $20! i really hope its a good fit and works well
Does anyone find they need to dress Bub a size up to accommodate their night nappy?
I ordered another nappy today! Outta control ;) orange striped fluffy WeePantz. Looks so soft and cute!
wowb- babyland shell with issybear night and day boosters. Very bulky!
Most of the time, yep, but Summer is only just in 00's so they are still doing ok over night nappies. Pants anyway... Jumpsuits are a different story!
Maybe jack has a skinny butt. The only time ive had pant problems is with Terry flats.
