So the issybear inserts worked better in the cheapo babyland shell, weird!
He still has it on, it's defo full but not leaked.
How many times had you washed the inserts? I had a brain fart one day and took Pixie out with a booster washed only once... BAD DAY all around :lol:

No nappy news here, ordered a TL night nappy from fluffy lime, so just gotta pay for it and hopefully get the girls in cloth overnight again.

End of an era, but too many leaks (big pee er) and too much trouble getting jeans to sit nicely over them means that the love has gone.
I can honestly say, that I didnt save a cent LOL, In fact, it prolly cost me more.
But I met some lovely folks and had the thrill of stalking the postie on many a day.

:lol: With Pixie she was always too long for the wondersuit style suits yet they looked like we had dressed her in something way too big with how baggy it was. She's still long and lean and loses her pants on a regular occasion :p:
I can't do the snaps up if I put a bonds suit over a night nappy. Other brands the same size are ok. I have a B'gosh suit & a Kmart suit both in the same size & they still fit over night nappies fine :)

got my bumGs delivered today!! yipee.
but im confused as to how to wash them. the organics say i can tumble dry, but the normal 4.0 says to line dry...
anyone else have these nappys,is tumble drying really that bad for them...?
i just looked at the receipt for my pop in and i thought i ordered the duck egg blue colour but the receipt says pumpkin! guess DS will be wearing pumpking then :wall: probably should have checked that before i said proceed to payment :rolleyes: :lol:
I would say because the organics have a bamboo inner, you can dry them - on low. You wouldn't need to dry the 4.0's cos they are pockets (nothing sewn in to dry!) and they dry REALLY quickly, as do the inserts, so no need to use the dryer.:
Its not particularly recommended to put them in the dryer, because people do it too hot and destroy the PUL, however, putting them in on low is fine.
thanks AE! i just opened up one of the pocket ones, and i can tumble the inserts. but the outer is really lightweight so wont take long at all to dry. :):
line dry the outers and tumble dry the inserts. The PUL in the shell will get killed if you tumble dry that bit. Maybe they put line dry on because people were chucking shells through the dryer? just a note too, if your tumble dry too often your inserts/boosters become thinner and less absorbant. the dryer actually shaves the lint off them and wears them out faster. Air dry as much as possible to prevent this. I usually line dry mine until there is only a touch of dampness left and then finish them off in the dryer for 10 mins or so.:
we dry them all on the airers. they mostly dry overnight for shells and inserts, and terry flats dry within 24 hours normally :)
I dry mine on clothes airers inside. They used to be out on my verandah, but all the moisture in the air isn't helping us, so they are all huddled around the fire place ;)
Usually will have them all dry within 24 hours, long as the fire goes all night :)

my candies are too big for C and she is almost 4 months old.. the sides leaked. I think with their OSFM cause they have no front snaps to make it smaller it would have to be for a bigger baby...
We are on our last day of my holiday so C is in sposies all day so I don't have dirty nappies to take home. We are going straight from the airport to camping on nrth straddie island so she will be in sposies the whole time.

DS wore his candie for 7 hours straight, no leaks. but iv decided i dont like them. not a fan of the side snaps.
am in love with my new BGs though!! have already ordered a bunch more :)

Yeah I think the side snaps are cute but not practical. I think it may suit better when he is a bit bigger :)
I think my fav's in our stash are the ittis and I love his bonnibuns.
