Oh ouchie peanutter :( poor Bub.
ouch! Pixie gets burning bum from teething wee and poo. We were out one day and DP says all of a sudden "something is burning the side of my stomach a bit". Turns out pixie's nappy had leaked. If my very un wussy DP comments on a burning sensation imagine what it'd feel like near pixie's bits?!? The MSM cream is really awesome for teething burn hun, have you tried it?
WOCB: nothing, airing a little after 12 hours in a nappy. Will be aqua gelato abby gro
i hate the burning bottom that comes with teething :( poor DS screams when i wipe his bottome clean after he does a poo coz it hurts so much. its days like that i feel like the worst mother in the world for allowing that to happen even tho i know its beyond my control :(
i hope his bottom clears up soon peanutter
WOHB - sposie. i got lazy when i got him up this morning.
no new fluff news around here so that is a bit sad ROFL
was wondering what everyone uses for nappy rash that is fluff- friendly! i know the moogoo MSM just wondering what else?
oh had a bit of a sad moment today when i put bubs nappy on... his Tutto didnt fit properly so i had to un snap the front... for the first time my baby isnt using the newborn setting... dam it now i cant say he is still kind of a newborn ROFL
WOXB- tutto... in the small setting :( lol
Oh dear... Sale at bonnibuns!!!!!!! 4 for $60! I love their fit on W, will have to splurge me thinks!
Wowb- Blue Babyland... He had a poosplosion right out the side of his bitti d'lish today!!! Out at lunch no less!
DS's poor botty is still red and raw, with open bits :( looks so painful! poor little man ... it's improving a little but I hope it starts improving quicker ...
I haven't tried msm - what exactly is it?
I'll be trying out come moogoo shortly, when the tester arrives ...
Sent a link on MSM cream to you peanutter. You should be able to find a local stockist somewhere in the site too. It's awesome stuff and the only thing I'll use on DD's bum and my problem skin areas now.
ok so my baby boy wet the bed yesterday.lol. was wearing a BumG organic AIO. i dont think its very good for night time.(they look sooo comfy for bub tho) it sucks having to sort out a "wet the bed" situation at 3am!! lucky i only got a couple of the AIOs,and the rest pockets, because i much prefer the pockets.
aaaanyway, last night i put a BumG pocket with extra insert and 9 hours later...yes 9 hours!!!, he woke up for a feed and he was all dry!!! yipee!!!
we had a full day outing yesterday, and used only cloth nappys. and it all went great. he was a good boy and did a poo before we left (he only poos once a day), so mummy and daddy could figure out how to change a poo nappy in the comfort of our home. LOL.
CL- such a shame cause it's such an awesome fit right now! I might get 4 unisex colours and save them for the next Bub once they don't contain him.
wowb- cute tooshies licorice candie
There are parents that swear by bonnibuns right up until toilet training but they just didn't work for us. DD is a freakishly heavy wetter though  Some days I will change her hourly and she'll still make her pants damp and need a full clothes change. It just depends on how much water she consumes and how warm it is.
thanks for the PM, CL! I tried to PM you back, but it says your mailbox is full ... :)
do others use liners with MCNs?
I use the curash powder stuff and it hasn't affected the nappies maybe coz it's a powder not a cream coz it has the zinc in it with cornstarch and DD only gets a rash when I don't use it
Jazzy soaked a wooly night pocket the other night :o I might have to use it on Jamie who is peeing a lot less at night than he used to
WOMB: sposie
WOJB: nic nap night my new love
I don't bother with liners because I have a little squirt. Prior to little squirt it was a rinse over with a showerhead attachment to a tap. It got kinda sucky once she got real solid poo so invested in the little squirt. I did at one stage use them but I found it a pita once she tried to crawl mid nappy change. Sun is an awesome whitener and we get heaps here so not too fussed on staining. Pixie is mid growth spurt so all her bowel movements are out of whack. Glad she decided to do a poosplosion when it was my sleep in yesterday  Dp was wondering why she was telling us to leave the room tonight, she gets embarrassed about pooing now so will say "go peas" ("go please"). We have to leave the room until she brings us a nappy to change her
omg, thank you ladies heaps!! i finaly found somewere that stocks moogoo, but she had run out of the msm cream, and forgot to order it, she rang to add it on the order but they already shiped it out, so she gave me a brand new tester pot, free. but best bit is how asomely amazing that stuff is! 2 days and A's reaction to the powder had compleatly gone, and ive used it on K, and it is the first thing to improve her teething rash while the teeth are still coming threw!:happydance: its half empty now, so ill get another week out of it, enough time to order a big jar i think.
only fluff mail here are some maz booby pads, wich reminds me to pm and thank one lady for!
anyone have issues with nappies and "crackage"? K is 15 months, and her crack is hanging out of nearly everything, the tuttos on the largest setting are to small, the large delish's are on the last snaps, she out pees the abbys, im in a loosing battle here! everything is either to low at the back or the snaps either pop open or are very close.
WoAB: magicall bout to be a bedtime tutto
WoKB: pull up cos she pooped in the maz night (and out pees the sandmans)
It sounds like you have a very long little girl there Sarah. No idea what to do about the nappies. I have a very lean and lanky DD that was in mediums til a week ago.
The MSM cream is freaking awesome. The site is really great customer service and prompt with delivery. I ordered on the thursday night and my package arrived on the following Tuesday. It's the only thing I'll use on DD's bottom now and it goes sooo far. A pot has lasted me 3 months so far and not even half gone. I use it on my dermatitus as well as Pixie's nappy rash too.
