We have started solids here; yesterday I found potato skin in DD's nappy (post-digestion, she hadn't just stashed it) so looking forward to more new adventures with that!

LOL! I occasionally open Pixie's morning poo nappy and say "Glad to see you ate some dinner last night my girl". Occasionally I swear she just inhales the carrots/broccoli/whatever else is on the plate whole. One of the women at playgroup thinks her child eats sand because every poo without fail has sand in it. I have also gone to strip Pixie's nappy at bathtime and found a full broccoli floret or a few bits of pasta etc. Those I don't doubt she'd save for later because they're amongst her favourite foods.

WOCB: NFI-I just grabbed first I could amongst her cold fueled grizzles. She's not happy tonight.

So I sold my 3 Itti SIO mediums tonight cause I really don't like the fit... sooooo i bought 2 more tuttos from babipur for $21 each! woohoo!! I got purple and peppermint. Anyone want to buy some CT? lol Selling some for a friend.

WOCB sposie cause DH changed her and I forgot to say put cloth on her. Oh well!

What is CT?

I just had to LS FOUR nappies for one wash! House record! this is part due to starting solids and associated epic poos, and part due to our new and much larger machine, meaning we go slightly longer between washes. There was carrot in one :lol:

While I was doing the washing though... toot toot... Roshan! Fluffy Mail! Got my WW (*love*), about a billion snappis, ME covers (twice as many as I expected) and four sz2 Bamboozles! Yaaaaaaaay!

In other fluff news, DD wore a GF NN to bed last night, a Nerd Burger vintage edition (*more love*) and slept SO well! It's a large, so the fit isn' fabulous, an extra top snap would be perfect, but I just put another cover over it and it was brilliant!

WONB: Little Britches green minky dot pocket. My favourite workhorse.

Audax: WOOHOO to fluffy mail!! I got some today too. What is ME?

I got fluffy mail today, from BBH my PUL covers and extra trifolds. I asked for med pink, green and orchid as the free one.. they sent me pink green in med and white in large??? It is HUGE! BOOOOOO. So I called them but no-one answered. I REALLY wanted orchid, more than the other 2! :cry:
I also got a hemp and a bamboo BBH fitteds n a trifold booster from someone who swapped for amber teething necklace, Mifght have to wash and drier them to make them soft again, and I got my first 2 wool covers and huggalugs from babys n stuff. I now have to lanolise them so hopefully I do it right!!!


WOCB: no idea. Something fluffy..DH changed her!!

Mrs B - lanolising is easy! I wash mine and then put in some warm water with a pea sized amount of laninsoh (sp?) cream. Let soak for bout half an hour - then wring out between towels and leave sitting flat to dry. Super easy!

if they are new and "already lanolised" do I need to wash them or can I just lanolise them?

If they are already lanolised, why would you do it again? ;)

they didn't feel like the were.. then I felt inside and yup, they are!! LOL. Just want to make sure they are done before I try them. I don't want C getting wet! I can use them under her wondersuits and wrap can't I?

Fit from birth, really well. Early on I just put in one booster, but now it I use both, esp in the morning between 7 and 9, which is wet season at our place. They are super-thirsty.

I am LOVING fitteds and covers at the moment, with all the solids poo-splosions! That extra line of defence is the best!

Was it a hot wash? What kind of detergent did you use? I have some covers that I need to shrink, just wondering how you did it.

My GF leaked. I think that's the end for the smalls. I just realised that in a 48 hour period, my baby has worn a small, medium and a large. Gotta love that ;)

audax - i cant remember! i must have done it on a 40 degree wash and used just normal washing powder. i put it in with my nappies and when i got it out i noticed it had shrunk. :rofl:

Audax and kylz, are you the only ones coming tomorrow? Getting C's best fluff (danube tutto hahaha) ready to wear!

My nappies have been out in the rain for 2 days :( gonna do a strip wash I think.
Do you wash them normal again after? If I use detol is it just the normal stuff? I have no idea what canasten is.

Oh, and do you strip wash the shells too? What about AIOs?

We have noooooo fluff to wear today :( all still damp from 3 days ago. They have been on the clothes horse do i have to ask them again or anything?

Can u put them in the dryer at all?

Jak - you don't have to wash again after a strip wash. I'm confused as to why they need a strip wash after a few days in the rain though?

Kylz - you can put them in the dryer, I put my nappies in there on low when I need them - and put the boosters in them to keep the bamboo nice and fluffy :)

They dont, just thought id give them a pimping. Thinking of selling a few so cant hurt, also had a few with barrier creams used on them before i knew not to use it.

I gots me a whole box of nappies today thanks to a lovely fellow member just gotta send off to bubblebubs to get the elastic fixed ib the ittis and im set for large ones. All the ones I bought on the mcn page have been posted so lots of fluff coming my way

well i am waiting on a pop in to come from a girl from the fb group. she pm'd me friday to say she posted it and gave me the express post tracking number. it didnt arrive yesterday or today and when i tried to track it, the website said that no events found for that tracking number. i pm'd her to ask where it was. i hope i just didnt hand over $35 for a nappy that isnt coming :(

China cheapie with their microfibre booster, candies trifold insert and a mini itti booster... do you reckon that is going to be ok?? The last 2 nights she has had her pop in bamboo night boosters with the 2 normal and not even been close to soaking through?

The best part is that it's your old large with the shot leg elastic. I never got round to fixing the elastic, but the kid's thighs are so enormous that it doesn't even affect the fit. :lol:

So, since the little madam has started sleeping through, she's feeding and weeing heaps more in the day, so I have to change her more often than before. I keep forgetting, and end up wearing wee. She's also now not even close to weeing through her night nappy combo, so I have downsized and put in one less booster. This could be disaster.

They might scan it at the destination it arrives to. I have had heaps just randomly appear in my local PO without any prior tracking info. FX it arrives teresa!

Audax- at one point I was wearing wee night and day because of Pixie's super huge bladder/water intake. We'd boost, boost, boost and boost at night and still get an epic flood at 2am.

God I wanted that GF one I was in line for, still so sad I missed out :( the whole back was coi fish embroidery, never worn $38. It got down to the person ahead of me and she took it, boohoo :'(

FX my shells dried on the clothes horse over night so I can get this boy back in his cloth! He hasn't crapped in one single sposie, what's the bet the second I put him in cloth he explodes! Lol.
