It's What's on Their Butt. I think it started out as WOHB (his/her) but if you have a couple in cloth, people go with their kids' initials.
You shouldn't need to strip wash, only if you start to get a build up of washing detergent, or they're a bit stinky even after washing...it's never been a routine maintenance thing for me. I think the napisan thing harks back to the days of our parents who used flats - I don't think the napisan's great for elastic and PUL. I use flats and prefolds, and still dry pailed them, although it is nice to know I can bring in the big guns for those ones if I want. :p A small amount of detergent and the sun should do just fine.
And yeah I saw the BBH hemps are a good price - I really like them, many prefer the bamboo, but I like them the same - the bamboo are slightly more absorbent but consequently take longer to dry. Both types arrive soft, and then go a bit crunchy, but my hemps are so old that they're actually quite soft again. :lol: This may also be known as 'falling apart'...
