Fluffy mail today and yesterday but nothing to exciting. 3 new bbh hemp fitted which i got very cheap, my Maz cover and a heap of roak'd covers some of which are ok and others which will go in the vinnies bag. still waiting on a bunch of pretties which still haven't arrived a week after express posted :(
also have 2 GF on the way

Got my 2 Maz covers yesterday. Love them :) Bit big still though. Summer is 10 months & smalls are still a good fit on her. Everything else are M's.
I was never a Magicall fan. Tried one on DS, & it was ok around the house, but too bulky for under clothes.
I've been buying this last week. Got 5 or 6 on the way... woops ;)
Gotta decide how I'm going to keep going with cloth at mum & dad's. Will have to wash in town at the laundromat twice a week I think. Mum & dad are only on tank water & when thats low, dam water. Going from 2 - 7 people might be a bit much with showers & clothes to be doing nappies too... Moving out there in 2 - 3 weeks.
So much to do. Alot of crap accumulates after 2.5 years in a house & most of its going into storage! & I gotta pack & sort it all alone. Sucky :(

Bulk doesn't bother me in summer. Whe its cold & you're trying to fit layers of clothes over the top its a bit of a PITA, lol.

So i got another nappy tonight. Lol. The wizard of oz one in the chic designs stocking. I am so excited! Lol...
Its our last night in cloth until 23rd now!! Sooo not looking forward to using sposies :(

My mother and sisters keep posting more for the pixie. i have size 7 dresses put away for when she grows into them. i had to say no more clothes when she asked if i wanted more :lol::
back in flats for the wee man as DP is back at work. DP doesn't know how to use flats/prefolds and was doing most nappy changes while on paternity leave. little dude is much happier in cloth. it's probably something to do with the residual tenderness from the tummy acid burn on his bum.

Prefolds dont need a liner? awesome! That'll make it easier to put them on mr squirms alot. The amount of times he's kicked the about to be snappied nappy out of my hands is ridiculous
i only use a couple of drops of lavender. it was the first time i used it and they came out smelling really nice. we have some sun here today so the nappies will be going out onto the clothes airer outside in the sun when they finish in the wash!

Fluffy Mail today and Friday :) i got 2 fluffy bubs and a bbh cover and a GF.
I also ordered a really cute cover from gen-y and have a couple of other naps on the way.
I am loving so many atm it's so tempting lol.
My custom from little birdy is supposed to be ready next week so looking forward to that.

Do you wash second hand nappies even though they smell washed? i always do but sometimes i don't want to lol

Pretty sure I have more than that on the way... recieved 2 AG's yesterday. Not too sure, hey... They need a snap down snap in the middle... I snap them down & do them up, then the middle sags. Might put one in myself if they keep it up...

Oh well. Tbh I was a tad disappointed with it cause the label is pretty big and just above the embroidery. Then it has a wee size tag pretty much on top of it. It really takes away from the cuteness.

I'm going to be buying petites for Liam. The flats are gigantic on him and he wees so much that the pinless fold cant keep up! Disposables are just ridiculous because they flck up!

Do you have any prefolds? I used prefolds on S when she was teeny tiny - flats I can use now that she is bigger. Seriously the best nappy for her when she was that size were my Widdlewuns.:
No nappy news for me - I'm thinking of getting rid of my BB woolly nights - the suedecloth isn't doing DD2 any favours, and she just pees right through them, even with two trifolds in there, and they are too slim to chuck more in. So gotta think of another solution.... just don't know what it is!! LOL
WOATB (wots on all the butts): Widdlewuns. Larges for DD1 and DD2, medium for DD3.
i've deleted myself off the buy swap sell as i have no self control lol and was spending wayyy to much time on there
i've got a birdsong peechee coming which is divine and a few others and i feel like i have enough for a while. i'll go back on when i need to move to larges though :) and my sister is pg so i can look for her later on.

I bought moogoo, the msm cream, right? They have a new nappy rash cream but it contains zinc, that's a nono, right?
That stuff aint cheap.

moogoo is exe but it lasts well and is the best stuff. Cleared up cradle cap and eczema here as well as the nappy rash. Far as i know zinc is a no no. i use the normal moisturizer as face cream as well. lovely.

Yeah, no zinc creams, unless you use a liner. They won't wash out of the nappy properly :)

yup but it's the only thing i could use to clean and protect ds's tummy acid burnt bum. he had blister all over both cheeks. we used a pot in 10 days lol. i call it the wonder cream because only thing that cleared up dd's nappy rash BETWEEN nappy changes. literally it'd work in 45 minutes (prior to tting). also as crystal wings said, it clears up cradle cap without making dd's hair feel super oily.:
I can FINALLY do pad fold on ds. he's still a little scrawny but it's not all nappy now. Pretty sure he's cracked 3kg (just). the long and lean legs mean longer before osfm mcn
Oh cloth on a tiny baby is hard. Lilac's probably 5kgs, but the bum genius gape around her thighs. Possibly because the elastic has stretched a bit, but I'm not sure about that.

does the bumgenious nappy sit flatter when laid open with inside up compred to others? that's how i check mine. the chlorine in the water here is shocking and really kills the elastic on most brands.
Kuraiza, if its not your elastic, its probably either your bubby's shape, &/or the brand.
I used prefolds, flats & fitteds & covers for the first few months. I got my first small Itti & thats when I started with AIO/AI2's. I think she was about 4 months... did use AIO's/pockets when we went out coz it was quicker & easier, but not full time.
Even now I use flats & covers as often as I use AIO's.
Must wash... tomorrow...

Hmmmm crazylady, I have 6 bgs and they're all old and were used for my son, I have such a minimal collection of mcn due to lack of funds, so they've all got quite a workout. I bought Velcro to fix the tabs (if lilac will ever go to sleep again and let me sew) but maybe I should replace the elastic... It's not completely shot, it's still stretchy, but I don't have any new nappies to compare it with.
I want to buy some popins and maybe some grovia nappies.
Clover, I was planning on using flats but I have forgotten how to fold them. I also bought motherease bamboo Sandys, but lilac has this nappy rash just by looking at them, I'm wondering if she's allergic to bamboo.

I'm using bamboo flats which isn't much help if she's allergic to bamboo. They are lovely and soft though, I just use the kite fold.
Went to the bello markers, got a tie-dye onesie. So cute! AND some longies. Are they supposed to be woolen? It's says 100% handmade and painted and 100% cotton. Either way they are so cute!
It's not the bamboo she's allergic to, she's probably just sensitive to the wetness on her skin. It's the same here - we can't wear two natural inners in a row. So I just pop a microfleece liner on the top. I do that with everything now, it makes poo so much easier to clean up.:

my medium babushka GF isn't a good fit at all and those inside snaps really dug into DD's leg.
I washed my naps with a pink bbh cover and it ran whoops so amdoing a strip wash on the bad naps and hoping the rest suns out. fingers crossed.

Oh no! We were there during the nice patch. What stall? If I'd have known I could have said hi :D
Oh and I had black run thru my naps from wipes but it all washed and sunned out after a few goes.
