Audax, it's a medium SS. Babushka emb and cotton panels on soft pink and white minky. it also has a flower emb. it is very cute. No stains. i'd be interested in a swap if you are..

I use liners for both reasons, although I've never had a poo stain not sun out. Also, it just makes solid poo so much easier to get off.
Oh yeah! AND my most favourite thing I did was in the bello opp shops, I found 4 pairs of corduroy trousers to unpick and up cycle! I will use them for rattles and softies I think! Plus I got 2 pairs of denim shorts to up cycle into something extra spesh :D
I just ordered some with some cloth wipes I bought on eBay, from a lady who makes wipes, boosters and cuts out liners.:
The main reason I got them was because I use cream on Jim, which you're not meant to use with MCN's particularly.
Anyway the first time I used one was overnight, and I noticed how dry he and the liner was, and yet the nappy was soaked. Then the next time I used one it might have been when he pooed, and I noticed how much easier it was to wash off.
I had a couple of boxes of paper liners but I haven't use them yet. I find the microfleece easier to store in my change table as well, and you only need a few of them.

I knew I meant to do something before I sat down feeding Liam! I have a bucket of flats soaking in a little RnG. He's stocking for a growth spurt so constantly on my nipples right now. Filling nappies like it's going out of fashion too.:

Robyn (Oh How Gorgeous) messaged me yesterday and my pockets are finished, so thats another couple of nappies to add to my stash, shouldn't have to use flats at all with DD3 now. So they are paid for, might have to sell my prefolds or something to help pay for them.. LOL
Both the older girls are in sposies at the moment, they've both got a rash that just WON'T go away, so I'm using some pretty heavy duty cream on them - several creams in fact, just trying to clear it up. Grr, this is the worst rash I've experienced in my 3 years of using cloth full time. Sposies are expensive!!!

WOSB: Old style WW that I got when DD1 was a baby - so its 3 years old. Medium velcro fastening (!!!) and has "Daddy's little princess" embroidered on the back. Had to send it back for new elastic and have replaced the booster in that 3 years as well.. LOL

We have a bit of rash here too. Nothing wild, but worse than she's ever had before. First tooth has just popped through, and she has a cold. Last night was *awesome* fun. Not. So we are using flats and liners so I can load up her bum with barrier cream.

feeding, feeding, feeding... we've hit the growth spurt here so heaps of poo right now. Liam can fit into tuttos and bbh multifits on the smallest setting now (just). i think i trust the tuttos a bit more right now because of the "poo fence"
MNB and Audax: try cleaning their bum with moogoo too maybe. it takes a little longer but it's gentler.

yeah, even water can aggravate. if you're talking about drinking water from the tap have you seen how much crap they put in it? At times with Pixie she wouldn't even get in the bath from it stinging. Liam's acid poo rash was only clearing once we started wiping with moogoo too.

We don't use moogoo because of the cow factor. I just use water, or sometimes Gaia moisturiser on her bum and the Gaia barrier cream, and it works.

In other news. I replaced the Velcro on my bum geniuses with wider, stronger Velcro and they're instantly so much better. I've wondered why cotton bottoms use such crap thin Velcro on their nappies. Why?

Re: nappy hunt. I did it one year... ummm... 2008 it would have been, the first year I started using cloth. Since then I've had 3 more babies and just don't have the time! Although, I really did enjoy doing it, and figuring out the clues was pretty cool :)
Maybe we should do it as a group - someone signs up, and posts the clues in here and we all have a go at solving them.. LOL
Fluff y Mail today and yesterday :) cute tie dye minky and cotton Sooki Lala and another GF, gorgeous black and grey patterned minky. This one is front snapping so i'm hoping it fits better. if not i might have to pass it on to and get something else.
My custom little birdie is being posted today. so excited. green fairy with green minky and a matching singlet with the fairy applique. Now i just want it to warm up so i can show it off
