Bahahaha! Yes I have seen the "**** crunchy mammas" say vid. Pretty funny, there is now a second one out too now
. I loved the comments "where's the coconut oil? Etc... My friends and I really do sound like that, lol!
I don't notice wee smellsI know I have had outgoing nappies that get that way but I didn't know.
Jen13 - I love TotsBots too! What type are you using? I have 8 of the old velcro Bamboozles in size 1, but I might start hunting for more. I have just put them away now, DD wore them from 6 weeks to 15 months, and I'm only stashing them because we don't *need* them for her, and I want to leave a bit of life in them for baby number 2. PS Empty your messages folder!
Does anybody know anything about GroVia? I have never used them, but they are releasing a print I love.great reason to buy, huh? Might have to go a-searchin'.
Has anybody seen the "Sh*t Crunchy Mommas Say" clip on youtube? Every time I rinse of a revolting pooey nappy now I have to say "Ugh. Spiruleeeeena." Even though there's not spirulina in there, although we have been eating a lot of spinach, and *that* makes for some interesting nappy productions.

Haven't seen it, but might have to go a-lookin'
Came across a website that does some ever so pretty runs of different one off's and such - now trying to convince DH that I really do need a few, after all he has his footy team one...
WOAB - rumparooz pocket, robot print.
I planned to sell my BBH Magic-Alls - so stripwashed them as per the instructions on the BBH website. The dye ran in all of them so now instead of white, they're a lovely shade of grey. Even after re-washing and several hours in the sun![]()
WOCB: sage bambooty easy dry
Finally got an order I've been waiting nearly 2 months for! I can finally stop washing every single daySo nice to have both my boys in cloth.
Cheeky Butts have reopened and now DD2 has grown out of all her NB nappies I felt the need to get a couple of prettier OSFMs. I liked their NB ones so much I hope these are as good.
WOHB: pink minky Cheeky Butts mini (for the last time)
Audax I had one of the GroVia NB nappies and I hated it. Used it once and it leaked immediately. Straight out the legs. It went into my nappy bag as an emergency only spare. I think I gave it one more try and same thing. The MagicAlls didn't leak for us.
Have no idea which TotBots I have. They're size adjustable with Velcro fastening. Got them secondhand off a BB member. Love them!
Were you having those problems with the older Magicalls or the new version? Ours have been fine, dry reasonably quickly too, though that might be more because of our super-awesome drying weather (read: blimmin' stinking hot!) than anything else![]()
I have had old and new MagicAlls. I don't like the fit, the gappy legs, the lack of adjustability, or the drying time, or that you can get Australian made nappies for a similar price that are better.
So, GroVia seem to do a hybrid that you can use as a cover? That's what I was thinking of getting. I like WeeHuggers, and they seem to be similar?
I won some CTBDs on ebay. And then DH paid for them. Double win! He has always loved them, so happy to get more.
We've never had any issues with BBH, but the drying time is a definite negative.
Has anyone got any Designer Baby OSFM? I've just gotten 2 but one of them leaks terribly! The other is fine so don't know what to do.
ok...newbie questions!! I'm going to start strip washing my nappies, so do I pull them all apart (so boosters etc are seperate?)? and then do you do them up when you wash them or leave them undone? (they are all press studs)
Pull them apart and leave them undone for washing so there's no pulling on the snaps in the wash
Excuse my sucky spelling, I'm on my iPhone
i find drying in winter ok cos they just go on a clothes horse in front of heater or in front of window on a sunny day.
BBH work well for us. i like to use them for long car trips cos i know they will hold the wee. mine are older ones --don't know if that makes a difference. i turn them inside out to dry quicker.
Jennifer - If they are the ones I sent you, they are Flexitots OSFM. My favourite was the white one. White goes with everything! BTW I did do a strip wash before sending so I hope they didn't smell
RE BBH - I used to dry mine inside out (my medium MagicAlls) and the leg elastic has gone in all of them. I think because the sun damaged it, it went all brown & brittle. I bought them new for DS & he has a skinny butt so he wore the mediums for AGES! DD has been wearing them for a while now too but they leak all the time because the elastic is shot. I now only hang them the right way out. Takes forever to dry but I love the nappies. I'm hoping to be able to fix them as DD should still fit them for a few more months & they are my favourites, so that leads me to my question for you lovely ladies...
Advice please: Any ideas on how to replace the elastic in the MagicAlls? I really don't want to sew them by hand but can't see any other way besides pulling them apart completely.
Maybe I should just buy some new ones - maybe green kids. I have heaps of them & love them too. Can't even part with the trucks one yet lol!
WOEB: Hopefully not the orange BBH Magicall I sent her to daycare in![]()
Rowellen, I'm just going to have a bit of a play with my MAs to see if I can come up with an answer for you.
