Cloth wipes - which ones and how many?

A friend of mine was over last week and had cloth wipes. Ohhhhhh they were so lovely and soft! Shel saw it and decided that they were ok, so we've decided we might ditch the chemical wipes and go with cloth (make it easier, just chuck it all in the wash), no worries about messing around with wipes to put in the bin.

What is your recommendation? How many would I need? And which ones are nicest? She had some 'generic' unbranded ones, they were a bit small and also very thin IMO but so lovely and soft!

I love the BBH ones. I have 20 I think and I had two in nappies (and they are also handy for TT clean ups!).

Yeah I've just started doing this too. Have a couple of professionally made ones - so soft!!

I got an old flanelette sheet from the cupboarrd yesterday and cut some out. I'm going to get my mum to sew a couple together for me

I bought some bamboo velour wipes which are so soft and beautiful, but now I just make my own much cheaper and too easy.
