Ok I've done the research and am sorted on which nappies and wraps I want to buy,
now I just need to know what's the best (and most economical) place/site to buy them from...
Based on your experience any suggestions on best place/site to buy the following brands from?
Sorry it has taken so long for someone to reply tictac, I guess we’re all a bit overwhelmed with the amount of MCN choice out there (and most of the time we don’t know where to start either).
Because you want a lot of different brands it would probably be best to go to a big retailer (e.g.: The WeeWuns, Darlings Downunder, Baby Soft Landings) who stock most of what you want, then you will save on postage, only getting one or two packages instead of fiver or six, IYKWIM. As far as cost goes, all the sites are pretty much the same, I think. Things do go on sale from time to time but it’s so unpredictable.
I guess just do a bit more searching on the net. Some BB members also sell nappies so possibly have a looky around here too.
I HTH. Come and join us in the cloth nappy thread in the cloth nappy general discussion. The ladies in there are great.
I agree, try darlings downunder ir the nappy bucket!! Good luck!!
How old is your bub/or are you preg?? You seem to have done your research and come up with a nice list there!!! Ou of your list I only have baby beehinds and itti's, the rest on your list I can't help ya with, but like Rachel said, check out the cloth nappy group!!
I've bought lots from the wee wuns before and the woman who owns it is really helpful and friendly. She has discounts for large orders too (5% off over $200 plus free postage & insurance for orders over $500) which might make it a little bit cheaper.
Hey guys!
I was beginning to wonder where everybody was!!
Thanks for the great tips
As I am expecting my first child, this is all new to me. Although after all the research I've done I feel like I now have a degree in cloth nappy! just need to fill in my practical hours when bubs is born so I can get my doctorate!
Haha tictac! It certainly is a lot to learn! Make sure you pop into the general chatter to keep us posted on how things go, and if you have any hurdles that need troubleshooting!
I agree to go with a cloth nappy 'supermarket' Have a peek at their 'sale' sections as well.
tic tac , baby beehinds are great ... you cant beat the absorbency of hemp or bamboo , cotton nappy systems tend not to last the distance once bubs is older !!
but i also reccommend ittis , i love them when going out , the rest of the time its bbh !!
