Just curious as to how people store their nappies now that Im starting to get a decent sized stash, Im not sure where Im going to put them. Do you have roller storers? separate dresser? throw them in bags? Other?
sophies used to be under her change table til she was mobile and they got removed constantly, now there in a drawer in her dresser, they fit as half are in the wash/worn at times
Yeah we have a whole drawer in her wardrobe just for the nappies. I put them together (pockets and bumbehinds) and lay them on top of each other so I just have to grab on and a liner/pul cover if needed.
Wow- how many do you have?? We have ours in a nappy stacker/on the clothes line/in the nappy bucket depending on where they are in the use cycle. I have a small drawer with some extra inserts and a bag with the ones we don't like ready to sell off.
Not as many as I'd like Ren! But she only wears them fulltime for 4 days out of 7, as she is cared for by other people on 3 days. I probably have about 15 bumgenius and enough bits and pieces to create 10 other nappies.
I keep the currently used MCN in a fabric lined wooden box on the dresser.
Flats and covers are in the nappy stacker.
Nappies which have been outgrown have been strip-washed, fully dried, and then stored in plastic bags according to size in a storage tub for number 2.
DS has two small drawers at the top of his chest of drawers, which is also his change table. Nappies to the right, liners, covers (including unstuffed stuffable nappies) and AIOs to the left. Also there are some in the buckets, some drying on the airer if not in the "dry bin" from the line... I don't restock until there's room! And there is usually one in his little nappy change roll that we take out places for emergencies. We have 12 fitted bamboo, 13 flat, 2 AIOs and 4 stuffable. I've just bought a few more AIO/stuffable nappies too!
Old nappies are stored air-tight in the airing cupboard, or in my nappy seller's bag to show how they wear and that poo doesn't stain LOL.
