Is there a name for this problem, just out of curiosity?

I wouldn't call it wing droop, it's more like the wings fold inwards toward the middle creating a gap at the belly IYKWIM? It happens with only two of my nappies (different brands) and one is snap, the other aplix.

I suspect the snap one could be fixed with a second horizontal snap, does that sound right? If so, where could I get that done? Any ideas for the aplix?

It could be that the nappies you have don't suit ur bub - you mention it happens with 2 different nappy styles, have you tried side-snappers?

A few WAHM will do snaps for you, just contact them ...

No,no,no! Don't say that! I love both of these nappies in every other way! I would hate to think it was a mis-match problem...

What about IRL - would a normal seamstress be likely to have a snap press?

Not really

Look up nappy sellers near you, or post the nappies with marks where you want the snaps to be put.

I'm not sure I understand what the problem is but I think it could be that the rise isn't big enough and then they don't sit over the hips properly. If you could take a piccie it would help!

Camera is charging atm, but I will try and explain better, because maybe it's something to do with how i put them on.

Imagine you do the snaps/aplix up so the sides meet in the middle. Then, what is left over on either side, on the front wings of the nappy (so underneath when it's closed) turn inwards to form another layer underneath where the nappy closes (under the belly button)
So instead of having the two layers (front and back wings) you now have 3 right in the middle and that pushes the front of the nappy outwards.

Gosh, I don't know if that helped at all. LOL

It doesn't happen on my IB or BBH, and I think that's because they both have two horizontal snaps.
